Four days later,

Kayla's POV:

I was avoiding Brandon completely for the last four days. I didn’t go to his cabin even when he asked for the reports, designs or analytics. I sent them through his assistant.

And I didn’t why, he didn’t ask me to go to him. He might understand that I needed some time away from him to think rationally.

But he sent those delicious lunch boxes regardless. And each time ate them I felt he was watching me. I felt bad for taking favors from him, getting so much care for him.

It seemed like I was taking him for granted, I was using him. He deserved an answer and an honest one. But I was scared to be honest.
