Jessica refused to get into the car when she was supposed to leave for her house and aside from being genuinely worried, everyone wanted to know why she was refusing to leave.

"Before I leave, I want to be certain that she is nowhere near the house, or better still, I will lodge at a hotel." She finally stated her reason.

"Jessica, you won't. I promise." Klaus tried to persuade her.

"It doesn't matter. I don't want to live under the same roof as her." Jessica retorted.

"Sister-in-law, Valeria can't leave because she was placed on house arrest. She can't even step out of the guesthouse. We can't let her off so easily after putting your life in such jeopardy." Cade added, trying to persuade Jessica to go home.
