New secretary

THE NEXT MORNING

"Whoa! Whoa! What's happening here? Sebastian? Why are you shouting at Daniel?" Mason asked with raised eyebrows after getting into the room. 

Sebastian and Mason are not only best friends but also partners in business. He occasionally visits Sebastian in his office. Today was one of those days when he came to his office to visit him but he was confused when he heard Sebastian shouting at someone. He got more confused when he entered the room and found Daniel at the receiving end of Sebastian's rage. 

"Oh, thank god you came Mason! Handle your best friend. He is impossible for me to handle anymore!" Daniel exclaimed as soon as he saw Mason and went ahead to stand beside Mason with a frustrated look on his face. 

"What's happening here? Can anyone explain to me?" Mason asked while giving a look to Daniel because expecting an answer from Sebastian is useless. 

"Don't ask! Six days ago, because of Chloe Jones, he fired his assistant and from that day on record, he has fired five new secretaries that I have appointed for him. He just fired the one whom I have appointed yesterday and now he is demanding a new one right this moment. Where can I find a new perfect secretary for him? And he is shouting at me because of that." Daniel explained the situation while wearing a frown all the time.

"Stop complaining like a girl and arrange a perfect secretary within one hour. Otherwise get ready for the consequences." Sebastian declared and turned around to go and sit on his chair. 

Sebastian is in a really bad mood from the past few days. To be more specific, from the day he met Chloe Jones, his temper is always at its peak. That girl pushes his button without even trying and when she opens her mouth, he can't control his temper. He still couldn't get her out of his mind. And after last night, in the pub, she is stuck in his mind permanently. 

Mason and Daniel could only share looks of helplessness. Sebastian reached his chair and was going to sit down when suddenly the door opened in a bang, halting everyone's movement.

"Good morning, SIR." A voice said and entered the room with a tray in her hands. She was having a devilish smirk on her angelic face. 

Sebastian, Daniel and Mason's eyes widened at the sight of the intruder. They looked at her from head to toe. She was wearing a white shirt with high waisted jeans and topped it with a black blazer. She was wearing a black heels. She had her red hair up in a ponytail. She was giving off a professional look. She was none other than the only reason for Sebastian's frustration. 

Chloe Jones!

"What the heck are you doing here?" Sebastian and Daniel exclaimed out loud in shock, unable to believe their eyes while Mason kept calm even though he was confused too. 

"I brought your coffee, SIR. I have heard you like to start your day with coffee. I have made it extra dark, just like you." Chloe said with a sweet smile before entering the room. She walked past Daniel and Mason and stood just in front of Sebastian. She forwarded the tray toward him with a wicked smile on her face. "Your coffee, SIR." She said and stressed on the word 'SIR' again. 

All the time, Sebastian was throwing daggers through his eyes at her. He felt his temper rising at full speed before getting too close to burst. 

"Hey! Stop this nonsense and tell us, what are you doing here before I throw you out of this office." Daniel snapped at her, while burning in anger. She is the reason for all his misery currently. He can't bear her presence.

"I am pretty sure my presence shouldn't bother you, Mr junior Domanco. After all, I am not going to work with you." She said with a sweet smile and a taunt in her tone which Daniel didn't like obviously. 

"What do you mean you are not going to work with him?" Mason asked with a small frown of confusion. Sebastian was silent all the time, creating a hole in her head through his glares. 

"Oh! Silly me! I still didn't introduce myself, did I?" She asked with a smirk before turning to her right to put the tray down on the table. She turned back to face Sebastian with a smirk on her face and forwarded her right hand toward him. 

"Hello, Mr Domanco, I am Chloe Jones. Your NEW SECRETARY!" She said with her eyes taunting him. As if telling him that, she managed to fulfill the challenge he has given her. 

"You are what?!" Daniel and Mason exclaimed in shock at the same time. Their eyes were as big as saucers while their jaws were almost touching the ground. 

Chloe pulled her hand back after seeing that he wasn't going to shake her hand. Not that she was expecting him to.

"His secretary." Chloe stated in a strong voice before turning around to face Daniel with the same smirk. 

"That's impossible! That's nonsense. Get out of the room right away before I call the security." Daniel exclaimed while glaring at her. 

"I am afraid you can't do that, Mr junior Domanco. I have signed a contract with the company and according to that contract, you can't throw me out of the company before I am done with what I am here for." She said, making everyone confused but Sebastian. 

"What contract? What are you talking about? Bro? Will you say something or what?" Daniel looked at Sebastian with a frown. 

All this time Sebastian was only glaring at the girl in front of him and this time he decided to open his mouth. But no one was expecting what he said at that time to come out of his mouth. 

"Out everyone!" He ordered in a strong voice while looking at Chloe still. 

Chloe felt a chill run through her spine at the command and instead of Daniel and Mason, she felt like running away from there. But she can't, it will tarnish all her image and she can't let that happen. 

"Huh?" 

"What?" 

Mason and Daniel exclaimed at the same time while looking at him in sheer confusion. 

"Bro? Are you asking us to get out in front of this girl?" Daniel asked in disbelief laced in his tone. 

"Don't make me repeat myself, Daniel." Sebastian said with gritted teeth but his eyes didn't move from Chloe yet. 

"Yeah, don't waste our time. He got a business to run and you are wasting his time." Chloe said and threw a smirk at Daniel which irked him beyond limit. He was going to say something when Sebastian's voice boomed again. 

"NOW!" He commanded in an intimidating tone which no one could deny. So, after throwing one last glare at Chloe, Daniel stormed out of the room. Mason followed behind him after giving her a small look too. They didn't close the door behind them. 

After they left, the environment of the room turned too cold and dark, making Chloe almost shiver. But she knew it wasn't because of the temperature or anything, it was because of someone particular who was throwing daggers at her through his ice cold grey eyes. 

"Uhh… so, why don't you enjoy the coffee and meanwhile I take a trip to the offi-..." She couldn't complete her sentence when he suddenly walked really close to her. 

And before she could understand anything, he got a hold of her right wrist and pulled her toward the door. She thought he was going to throw her out of the room but he confused her when he closed the door and pushed her against it in a blink of an eye. 

And just like yesterday night, he got her pinned against the door once again. Her hands were beside her head while he was holding them up there. His face was dangerously close to her. His breathing was fanning her face. 

She felt it again. All those butterflies rushed back to her tummy, making her nervous as she dared to look up in his cold eyes. 

That was her first mistake.

"So, what were you saying?" 

The moment he opened his mouth, she went over to think, why did she agree to this?
