“What?“ May's eyes widened in shock.

At first she didn't know what to think. Did something happen? Is that why he asked his driver to bring her back? Or is her life in danger that he's worried about her? She keeps wondering what he saw that made him call the driver like that.

“Why? Did he tell you why he asked you to bring me home?“ She asked Ronan curiously.

He shook his head, his eyes on the road.

“He did not tell me why. He sounded mad and he wanted me to bring you home immediately.“

Sounded mad? What exactly is wrong with him? These thoughts could not get out of her head. Why is he mad? Could it be that someone pissed him off at work or he discovered something that's making him like that?
