May went back to the class after her sister left. She was not done with Debra yet but she didn't want to miss classes. She already promised Jared she would study well so she can graduate on time. He won't be happy if she has to carry over this time. Though she has never done it before, it might happen with the way things are going.

“You're back. The lecture is over.“ Kevin said, waiting for May with her bag.

She collected it from him looking around for Kayla, then she asked him, “Where is Kayla?“

He answered, “Kayla went to see the professor with her partner. She asked me to tell you not to wait for her and leave when you are ready.“

She nodded, “Even still, she could have just told me. These days, I feel like she is up to something else instead of me.“

Kevin chuckled, “Would you like to have lunch with me if you are bored?“

May wanted to deny but her stomach grumbled getting her embarrassed. She ate so much before leaving the house, how can she be so hungry already? Could it be t
