May stopped in front of Kayla's apartment. She couldn't go home to see her parents because she did not have the confidence to face them now. Kayla wasn't around so she just got in and texted Kayla about her presence.

She got to the counter and made herself a cup of coffee. She finally got a lighter to light her cigarette. She drank some coffee while smoking, thinking about Jared. No matter how she tried, she could not get him out of her head.

It was getting close to evening, Kayla finally came home. At first she was scared because she thought a thief had entered her apartment. Then she realised she doesn't really have that much stuff that they can steal.
