CHAPTER 10: The Offer

THIRD PERSON'S P.O.V

"This is it, hurry up and let's go to the beach!" she exclaims, her eagerness palpable as soon as he announces their departure. She's been advising her sister to take a vacation after a few days of sleeping and recuperating their strengths.

He noticed her joy and simply let them go as a reward for their last mission.

They are also expected to accompany them. he initially objects, claiming that he always goes to his meeting, but this time he refuses. He, on the other hand, wishes him to unwind. They had a hectic week due to the training and mission. They were admitted to the medical team to be checked out when they returned to the organization's base two days prior. He was aware of their discomfort and granted them two days off to rest their bodies, while Ivory looked after them.

"Don't you have a plan to return here? I believe you are already carrying all of your belongings in your bag," he said, looking at the baggage Vanessa was carrying. She gave him a cold stare before putting on her sunglasses.

"It's okay to be sure, I don't want to forget anything else," she coldly said. Telling herself that she needs to calm down in order to have a nice vacation.

He came a few moments later with the vehicle they would be using. When he noticed they were about to go, he smiled at them. He pulled up alongside them and offered assistance with supplies and baggage. He then looked and spotted her baggage after a bit, he shook his head, and when she realized that he was only looking at her things and didn't even moving her items to ascend, she raised an eyebrow.

"What?"

"Are you sure you are bringing that much? We are only going to be there for a week, but why do you appear to have brought one year's worth of clothes?" He questioned. Before taking a deep breath, her brow furrowed once more.

"I am sure I can use everything there, if you don't want to take those, I will just do it by myself," she said and was about to carry them but Jake was ready to lifted them up before her.

"I am just asking but why are you so hot-headed? Women really, I don't understand," he said, almost whispering the last words.

She gives him a wince before getting into the van. Once she sat on it, her sister sneered at her.

"Oh, girl. I have been waiting for this day, don't spoil my mood," she groaned, and her sisters couldn't help but chuckle as she put on her headphones and closed her eyes to listen to the music.

"Here," she said, she looked at herhand as she handed her something. When she noticed her favorite neck pillow, she grinned.

She inquired, "Did you take this?"

"Yes, I thought you had brought everything you needed, but it appears that you neglected something," she said, smiling. She then followed suit and gazed out the window.

The trip has began, they decided to go to a famous beach. It took them 2 hours before arriving there, Vanessa jumped out happily to the van. After going out they inhaled the fresh breeze first and looked up at the sky and smiled to see that it was clear, just right for their vacation. While arranging the equipment they first looked at the sea, it was so wide and so clean that it seemed as if they were invited to swim in it.

"The beauty here is dreadful! Look, this is the only place you can find beautiful women, so you should make the most of this entire week!" His friend exclaimed as he dashed into the hotel where they will be staying during their vacation. Jake had made all of the arrangements they needed before they arrived, so they didn't have to worry.

"Idiot, you are always with the goddesses," she mumbled.

"Let me help you," he said, offering assistance to her, who was having trouble carrying her things. She came to a halt and looked at him first, he simply waited for her permission while smiling at her. She lowered her head and nodded quickly. "Let's go!" he said after carrying several of her luggage and discovering that the only thing had left in her was her handbag. He manages to get everything to her despite the fact that he is also lugging his belongings.

"Where are your bags?" He asked. She pointed at someone using her pouty lips, ignoring his gaze. He followed who she's pointing at and saw him who's currently in the hotel entrance with him, waiting for them. He nodded his head, his face a bit serious and walked faster than her after. She just raised her eyebrows while looking at his back.

When she heard her chuckling she looked at her.

"What?" She asked. The other one smirked and shrugged her shoulders as a response. Like what she did at him, she just ignored her sister and smiled at herself. "No one can ever make me upset today, this day is mine."

"Yours," She replied, biting her lower lips to hide her laughter.

"Don't follow me!" Vanessa exclaims as she sprints to her sisters. Ashleigh cocked her head back and looked at her.

"We are going the same way," she said before turning to face Ivory on her side. She noticed her staring straight at Dominus, which made her wonder what she was thinking.

They reached the hotel and went to their respective rooms. The triplets will go to just one room while the boys will be in the same rooms too. The rooms they got are those big ones with many beds inside.

"Aren't we lucky?" Hunter wondered as he sat down on one of the mattresses. Dominus hopped up alongside him on the bed and laughed.

"Yes!" he exclaimed, smiling.

"Fix your things, let's go after," Steel said, and they rushed to follow because they were eager to view the entire location. It seemed as if they were on their first vacation.

"What are you wearing?" Ashleigh inquired of Vanessa, who was dressed in a two-piece swimsuit with a lace cover-up for the summer. They have just opted not to swim on this particular day, but seeing her with it really shows that she doesn't get it.

"Why? I don't have any clothes except for this," she said.

"What? You have been taking so many baggage and you are not even taking clothes with you?!" Hunter shouted at her.

Vanessa frowned at him. "Don't shout at me." She coldly said with her eyes narrowed to the people passing by to the cottage where they are and started walking alone to the seaside.

"Just let her be, I am sure she has taken something with her," Ivory said as he prepared the meat and fish for the grilling over the table.

"All good! Let's just enjoy it here," Hunter stated before assisting them.

"How about we just eat inside the hotel?" Ashleigh said as she studied the griller. She grumbled and took a few of the BBQ sticks.

"We can feel the vacation more through this," Jake said, fanning the barbeques that Ivory was preparing. "We don't need to rush though, the day is still long for us," Jake added.

"This is lovely, but I'd rather sleep in my bed all day, every day for the next week."

"You can do that here as well, you have your own bed," Hunter said. "Don't worry, we will enjoy it while you sleep and will only wake you up once we are on our way home." Ashleigh came to a halt and fixed her gaze on him.

"You are so funny." She sarcastically smiled.

"I know!" Hunter exclaimed, moving his eyebrows up and down.

"Here," Steel handed more hard coal to Ivory when he saw that it's running out of fire. Ivory took it to him without even taking a glance at him, but Steel grinned at the tiny gesture, pleased that Ivory didn't dismiss him this time. "Do you need more?" he inquired, seizing the moment. He gulped and became uncomfortable when Ivory came to a halt and finally looked at him. "A-ah, just let me know if you need anything more," he said as he turned back.

Ivory frowned a little when she saw him like way, he didn't even wait for her response, so she shook her head and went on with her work.

Dominus then responded, "Let me assist you." Steel gave them a sidelong glance while Ivory just nodded.

"That should have been the thing I said," he thought to himself, regretting it immediately. But he went near Jake, who was now taking care of the foods that had been prepared on the cottage table and had finished cooking. He cleared his throat first, then said to him, "Let me help you." Jake and Hunter both turned their gaze up at him.

Hunter mocked him, "What happened to you? I didn't realize you were such a gentleman bro." Jake chuckled as he looked at the man with them, who is now biting his lower lip to disguise his humiliation.

"You two, shut up."
