IRIS
I got out of the shower and wrapped the fluffy pick towel around my petite body. I rushed to the walk in closet and dressed in a random hoodie with boyfriend jeans.
I left my hair to dry naturally while I applied a moisturizer to my face. One thing I hated while growing up was using blow dryer, nothing personal but just the thought of using it never settled well with me.
I was about to leave the room when a thought entered my mind. I should take medicines. Ideally I shouldn't have bothered about taking them I just don't want to create a scene down after listening to Tristan. So it was best I take my medicines.
I went back to the closet where my duffle bag was kept in the bottom right shelf. I dragged it out and opened it to find a small container consisting of my medicines. I have enough medicines to last me two weeks but after that I need to buy them.
I took out the
THIRD PERSONIt has been one week since Iris decided to give Tristan the silent treatment. One o'clock is exactly the time of the night. The silence in the air was peaceful. No chirping of birds, no honking of cars and no pedestrian walking on the streets. But the petite woman on the bed was shaking with fear. As she relived the moment which became the cause for all her regrets and pain. The day she encountered the monsters, in the dress of normal beings ready to plague her life.Iris rubbed her hand as cold wind slapped her bare face. Her cheeks and and nose was now a beautiful shade of pink with a hint of red. She was making her way back to her home. Two weeks. It has been two weeks after the divorce. Till day whenever she thought about Tristan it hurt and she could feel herself breaking. But still, life has to move on.
IRISI groaned as the light seeped in my room. How do I explain these sun rays that I am not a morning person. I stuffed my head deeper in the pillow and started counting,One sheep..two sheep..three sheepI was too busy in trying to concentrate. That I didn't hear the knock on the front door. Maybe no one wants me to sleep today."Coming.", I said softly but how frustrated I was.One of the maid whom I didn't know was standing patiently on my door."Good afternoon madam. It's already one o'clock and sir is requesting you to eat something. As soon as the word sir left her mouth, the incident of last night came back haunting me."I will be there in half an hour.", I whispered as I was too lost in my thoughts.Saying this I closed the door. I sighed and sat back on my fluffy bed. It's been o
IRISThe kiss was not soft and passionate rather it was rough and was dominated by Tristan. Why was I kissing him back? I have no answer to this question. But this kiss was answering all the unheard and asked questions. We both were pouring in all our emotions. The emotions that dominated his side was betrayal and the emotion that dominated my side was pain. Immense pain! The kiss was raw and hard but still there were the fire works. His hands roamed my body and shockingly I didn't feel disgusted. My had tightly grip his hair as if I was worried he would disappear.None of us needed oxygen at that moment. We were each other's oxygen.Suddenly Tristan bit my lower lip drawing some blood and a moan escaped my mouth. My back arched and I could not deny I was completely aroused by that moment. Our eyes met ones and I could see even his eyes were clouded with l
IRIS"Mio fiore."My heart stopped beating at that moment. His eyes shinned with unshed tears. He looked at me as if he was trying to read me. His hands were bleeding and I could see a few pieces of glass piercing through his skin.I need to help him. My legs worked automatically as I rushed to his lavish bathroom to find a first aid kit. I soon found one near the sink.I rushed back to the room to see him facing towards the window. The blood looked like a black tar falling on the floor painting the pool of vicious pain.I went to him as he turned and gave me a genuine smile. He looked at me from head to toe but it didn't make me feel disgusted. His glaze somehow made me feel protected."Sit down on the bed Tristan, let me bandage you. Your hand is bleeding badly.", I said to him.No reply, he just stood there watching me like a h
TRISTANDamn these headaches!I was woken up by a pounding headache and something teasing my nose, making me want to sneeze. My eyes fluttered open and the first thing I saw brought an automatic smile to my face, my love was sleeping soundly on my chest.I looked around to find that we were almost on the dead end of the bed. My legs were dangling down but magically Iris was able to coil herself over me in such a manner that her folded legs ended over my thigh and her legs were saved from dangling down. But not like her feet should have touched the ground.I just loved this feeling. Her small frame molding completely in my large frame. Some drool was coming out of her mouth. Maybe some people would find this disgusting but I found it adorable. The way her nose would twitch once a while and she would mutter something incoherent was just so cute.
THIRD PERSONThe man stood at the window of his office thinking about the possibilities. His mind went back to that angel. The way her thick brown locks fiercely cascaded down her back like a waterfall. The way her innocent hazel orbs looked at everything in that hall with awe. The way her plump pink lips would form a kissable pout when she won't understand something. It was beyond beauty.“You have committed a sin.", a small voice whispered in the back of his head.He let go of a dark chuckle as he licked his lips by remembering about that eventful night when he used her. If only he should have not killed her. He could have many more nights like that.“I did was she deserve. It was her faith."He stated to himself trying to cover his false deeds. But nothing was enough to cover that. Nothing
TRISTAN (SAME DAY)I got out of the bathroom and went to my walk in closet. I quickly dressed myself in some sweat pants and went to Iris' room to check on her.I slightly opened the door to take a sneak peek of her. I sighed as I found her cuddling with one of the pillows. I closed the door behind me and went downstairs."Sir!"I was stopped by the voice of my head chef. I whipped my head in his direction to find the cleaning team standing behind him."The cleaning staff is here. Should I send them to your room."He asked me and I nodded my head. Soon they all dispersed leaving my chef and me alone."Sir, what would you like for the breakfast?""You can take an off today. Infact all of you can take an off today.", I said the last sentence loud and clear. The chef eagerly nodded his head a
THIRD PERSON POVIris cautiously walked down the flight of stairs as a thought lingered in her mind. Her mind was not capable of registering it that she was trying to move on.Was it right for her to give Tristan another chance? Was it right to give herself a chance. Why was life so cruel to her? She didn't know if she deserved this chance. A part of her felt as if she was cheating on Tristan by not telling him the truth. How could he not realise that this was not the same Iris. Her Iris had wilted a long time ago.Could her life become better? It was then only that a rare bitter sweet memory of her childhood entered her mind.A six year old girl in battered cloth got down the dirty and broken staircase of her orphanage. She was very young but she was prudent for her age.“What do you mean by you won't adopt Iris?"
