“What do you want, Samantha?” Ace gritted his teeth as he walked out of the house to take her call.

“I called to question your so-called upbringing based on which you won Aries’s custody case!” Samantha sounded furious. “Aries called me bitch! How dare he abuse his mother? Is this how you’ve raised my son?”

“Our son!” Ace corrected her. “And he’s a thirty-year-old man now! Not a seven-year-old boy you left on the beach!”
