The Last String

The door cracked open, and Sebastian walked in, sitting on the couch across from the bed. “Where is my son?” Janet’s cold eyes stared at him.

“I should be the one asking you? Where is Kyle?” Sebastian crossed his leg over the other. “And why did you jump out of the car? To stop me?” He arched an eyebrow. His black eyes stared at her.

“I didn’t jump out of the car! You’re not so fucking important to me.” Janet glared at him.

A flicker of sadness crossed Sebastian’s eyes. “I know that!” He said and Janet looked away. “But the question is still the same. Why did you jump out of the car? Because that’s what Ronan Gera has said to his officers.”

“What?” Janet snapped at him. “He is the one who pushed me out!” She said, and Sebastian rounded a fist. “I was ready to face you and asked him to give me Kyle, but….” She trailed off. “Oh, my god! Sebastian, you don’t know where is Kyle?” She panicked.
