“On behalf of all our crew, thank you for choosing Asiana as your Airline today. Have a great day.”

I smiled at the passengers who went out of the plane. I was just standing at the side thanking everyone with a smile plastered on my face, they were carrying their luggage. From time to time I would also approach them if they needed my help.

“Is this our last flight?” Katella, one of the crew asks.

“Yes,” I smiled at her. “You can rest already.”

The long flight from Atlanta to Cambridge was tiring. We stayed there for the last two days, my body hasn't even been able to adjust from the jetlag yet. My body clock is really messed up.

“Let’s eat first,” Joanna, one of the flight attendants said.

We were carrying our small luggage, I could hear the loud treading on the floor because of the heels we were wearing. My foot hurts because I'm wearing new heels now.

“I’ll pass, I need to go home now,” I remove the scarf around my neck because I can already feel the heat of the sun.

“Ah right, I forgot someone is waiting for Yanna,” Jo, nodded.

We took the service back to the Airlines headquarters. I waved at them when I got down. I immediately took off my coat after getting in the car because of the heat. I also changed my shoes so that I wouldn't have trouble driving.

“The hell with this car!” I hit the steering wheel, it was not starting again.

I got down, and open the hood of the car and check the engine. Then, I went in again and start the engine again. Thank God it started! I really need to replace my car. I just don’t really have the budget, for now, there are a lot of things that I need to prioritize first. I have many bills to pay.

I heard the car engine roaring but I still manage to park in front of Samantha’s condo. Samantha-my best friend ever since high school. I parked and took the elevator to get to her floor.

“Hey, you’re early!” She greeted me, she kisses my cheeks after opening the door.

“Where is she?” I asked immediately upon entering.

“Your sneakers don’t suit what you are wearing.” She commented, immediately noticing what I was wearing.

I ignored her and just entered her condo. I went to the living room when I saw the television was on and someone was watching Barbie.

“Mommy!”

My face lit up and I quickly walked towards her and was greeted with a tight hug and tiny kisses. She’s too small so I knelt down a little. She was still wearing her pajamas. Her hair is still messy from sleep so I fix it using my hands.

“Going home, Mommy?” My four years old daughter pouted.

“Yes, we can watch Barbie at home,” I wipe her cheeks which have traces of chocolates.

“Sam! You fed her again with a lot of chocolates?!”

“What?!” Sam said defensively. “It’s just a little! I promise.”

“Little, Mommy.” My daughter gestured ‘little’ using her small fingers.

I shook my head and started tidying up her toys which were scattered on the carpet.

I get her pink backpack and put all her toys there. He snatched the dolphin stuff toy from me, I was about to put it in the bag. She pouted and hugged it tightly, afraid that I would get it from her.

“Come on Avi, say goodbye to your Tita Sam,” I hold her hands and walk to the door.

“Bye my love,” Sam pouted her lips, acting like she was crying while kneeling and kissing Avi’s cheeks. “You will still come back here when your mommy flies again.”

I slightly punch her before Avi and I went out. When I have flights, I always leave Avi with her. Sam offered us to live with her but I rejected her. I already owe her a lot.

“Where did you go, Mommy?” Avi curiously asked while I was putting on her seatbelt.

“Atlanta,” I smiled and close the door.

I only had two days' rest and I took Avi again back to Sam's condo because I have a flight to Qatar.

The trip might take long so I decided to just bring clothes for my daughter.

“Good afternoon, Yanna!” Katella greeted me. “It’s a miracle that you’re late!”

I was the last one to arrive and they were already on board at the service reserved for flight attendants. The flight attendants and pilots have a separate service.

“I was planning to talk to him but I was afraid he might ignore me! He looks sociable,” Joanna whispered, fascinated by something.

Even in the immigration queue, Katella and Joanna were still talking and whispering to each other. They were glancing behind me. While I just held my gaze in front, from time to time I also talk to other flight attendants. I was dragging my small luggage while going to the plane. My brows furrowed when I heard Joanna and Katella laughing while walking.

“What is it? Why are you laughing so hard there?” I ask confused.

“Have you heard about the new pilot, Yanna? He’s really handsome!” Joanna giggled while biting her fingers, she looks thrilled.

I can’t remember which pilot they were referring to. I didn't even notice him when we were at the airport. I hovered over the flight details and my forehead creased. I was confused about what they were talking about.

“Are you sure?” My ears rang upon hearing the word handsome. I was interested so I ask.

“Yes! I was assigned to serve his foods later!” excited, Katella said.

“Sis, just give this one to me,” Joanna argued.

I just shut up and went inside the plane. The two were still arguing. I went straight to the crew rest station to put my things. I fixed my things and also fixed myself, I put a little powder on my face and lipstick to color my lips.

“Yanna! Too bad you didn’t see him!” Katella hit me. She said it to me in a whisper because we were with the other crews.

“Huh? What do you mean?”

“He’s here! Shit, the handsome pilot we were talking about earlier. He looks so gorgeous in person.” Katella said dreamily. “He talked to us, Oh My God! He was looking at me.” She said in a flirty tone.

“Bitch! He’s not looking at you, he’s looking at me!” Joanna argued again.

I just shook my head and resume what I was doing. The co-pilot and first officer entered the plane and went straight to the cockpit to set up.

When the passengers entered, we all plastered our most beautiful smiled again. I guided some passengers to their seats. Katella and the rest of the crew got busy when the plane started moving. I check the compartments if they were all closed.

“Ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon. Welcome on board. This is Captain Revamonte speaking.”

I was stopped from my track, my hands were still in the compartment. I felt cold.

“Yanna, faster,” Kyla whispered when she noticed I was not moving.

“Who's our Captain?” I ask, my voice stuttered.

“If I am not mistaken, it was Captain Revamonte, right?” Kyla was giggling upon mentioning the Pilot’s name.

Revamonte. There are a lot of Revamonte, for sure! He’s not the only one. There are even a lot of Suarez Surnames, so I’m sure he’s not the only Revamonte, right?

“Full name?” I had to make sure! Convincing myself will do nothing.

“Wait,” she thought for a moment. “I think it was Percival Archer Revamonte III if I am not mistaken.”

My hands went cold. I think I got suffocated for a bit. My breathing becomes heavy and I was bothered. I didn't even hear what he was announcing to the passengers!

“Yanna, you should go back in front.” Joanna elbowed me.

My throat went dry. I slowly walk towards the station. I was nervous and confused, I didn’t even notice I was holding my breath.

He’s here. Fuck!

I look to the very front of the plane and had even more difficulty breathing. It was cold yet I can still feel beads of sweat on my forehead. Can I get down in here?! I don’t want to be here anymore! I don’t want to see him and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want to see me too.

“Latest Updates on the weather at our destination will be given as we approach Doha, Qatar.” The pilot announced.

He’s here. Oh My God! I feel like fainting.

“Thank you and enjoy your flight.”

He’s here. The father of my child is here!
