"So can I get to see my kids now?" Lily asked. She was very worried about the whereabout of her kids. She couldn't help but wonder what state they would be wherever they are. Her twin were found of being around her and had grown used to her. She felt like crying but she wouldn't dare to cry before Drake Bell.
"The kids are mine too now," He stood and added, "but I'll take you to them. Follow me."
Lily wanted to ask if he would stop her from taking the kids with her but she decided to suspend the question. Her most important want right now is to see her kids.
She followed him outside and was surprised to see him entering his car. He then gestured for her to get in. Lily got inside the car swiftly and while he drove, she couldn't help but ask, "I hope my kids are safe where they are?"
He glanced at her and spoke, "I was dumb not to realize how pretty you are when we were married." There was a hint of regret in his voice.
Oh! Now he realizes how beautiful she is. She looked away from him without saying a word. She wasn't interested in having any conversation with him, she just wanted to see her kids and particularly confirm that they are fine and well.
"We now have kids between us, don't you think it's best for us to settle our scores for the sake of our children? It won't be a good thing for the kids when they find out that their parents are not on good terms.
"I'm capable of taking care of my children alone. As you can see... I took care of my kids alone for good five years. You were no where around when I singlehandedly worked hard to raise them, providing all they need physically, mentally and emotionally but all of a sudden, you think you can suddenly claim fatherhood over my kids?"
Drake Bell didn't say another word until he pulled over by a beach. Then he got down. Lily got down and looked around the quiet beach. It wasn't the kind of beach that regular people could pay and visit, this seems ls to be reserved for special people.
"Are my kids around here?" Lily asked impatiently. Drake Bell however moved to the front of the car and leaned by the bonnet of the car. He brought out his cigarette and lighted it. The weather was very cold as there were snows around but as he smoked, he felt slightly warm.
Lily was confused at his action. Didn't he bring her here to show her the kids? She walked to him and stood before him, ready to speak in frustration and anger, he pulled his hand around her waist and dragged her closer to himself.
"Let me keep you warm, Lily," he said.
Lily tried to pull herself away from his tight hug but it was impossible, she could feel his hot breath fanning her slim and slightly opened shoulder.
"Let me go!" She screamed. Although his scent was so alluring and infact, reminded her of when she used to long for his presence, when she was foolishly in love with him.
When he wouldn't let her go still, Lily screamed in anger, like a psycho, only then did he let her go. It was only after she pulled away from his hug that she started feeling cold again. For the few seconds that she was in his embrace, she felt only warmth. But she would rather feel an even more intense cold than to remain in the embrace of Drake Bell.
Drake Bell could see the deep look of disgust on her. The woman who was obedient and humble to him in the past, the woman who loved him with everything within her now hates her with passion. He felt like he lost a treasure and his heart ached.
'This woman use to long for my touch in the past but at the moment, my touch disgust her," Drake Bell thought to himself as he continued smoking.
Lily had already taken a few steps back from him, "Drake Bell, no matter what you do, you will never have a space in my heart again. I hate you with passion."
Drake Bell dropped his cigarette to the floor and smashed it. That word, 'I hate you with passion,' made him feel like hot coals were poured to his heart, making his heart burn continuously.
"Where are my kids?" She screamed. This time, she was loosing all her will power and was almost at the brink of crying.
"I won't let you off, Lily... It's too late for me to continue living this life without you in my life." He said, staring deep into her blue eyes.
"It's not too late. Go ahead and marry your childhood sweetheart and leave my children and I alone," Lily said. "Please let me see my kids already."
"They are my kids too. Did you think I will keep them where they would be unhappy and unsafe?" He suddenly asked in a tough voice.
"I don't care where you keep them, I need to see my kids," she said. "Please!" This time, she already had tears floating on her eyes.
"They are not here," hearing Drake Bell say this made the tears she had been holding to fall down her cheek. She couldn't help but sob quietly.
When Drake Bell saw the tears on her face, he was moved and he immediately dialed Sarah's number. Sarah was one of his two personal assistants, "bring the kids to my beach." Then he tucked the phone to his pocket.
When Lily heard this, she cleaned the tears on her face and spoke, "will they be...here soon?" She asked.
"Yes," Drake Bell had brought her here purposely to spend some time with her but it seems this woman hates him so much that she didn't even want to spend a second with him.
"Aren't you surprised you have been unable to reach my uncle?" Drake Bell asked.
True, for some days now, Lily had not been able to reach Alexander. She didn't even know where he lives neither did she know of any other way to contact him apart from his phone number.
After Lily asked Alexander if he would like to marry her, Alexander had agreed on the spot. He was also in need of a woman that can act temporarily as his wife at the moment for reasons best known to him. So both Alexander and Lily agreed to choose a date for their wedding. Although Lily didn't have any feelings for Alexander, she still want to go ahead to marry him just to get rid of Drake Bell.
She would rather marry someone she did not know than let Drake Bell keep bothering and bullying her, afterall, we can simply put it as, Drake Bell owns the entire New York. He's very influential in and out of the country.
"Why? Did you do anything to him?" Lily asked curiously.
"It's family thing. Just forget about him cause you'll never see him again," Drake Bell said.
Lily furrowed her brown in shock. Did he hurt him? Lily became worried. All of a sudden, she sighted a Ferrari drove towards where they stood.
Sarah and Liam then stepped out through the front seats, after which they opened the doors of the backseat. At once, two small figures came out through the backdoors of the car.
Seeing her twin, Lily shouted happily with her two arms stretched, "Jayden, Isabella."
The two kids ran to her and hugged her dearly. She squatted to reach their level and hugged them. She even chuckled with little tears dropping from her face. She was so happy. She immediately began to examine their faces to be sure they are fine.
"Mom, why are you crying?" Jayden asked, "did anyone bully you?"
Isabella felt pitiful for her mom and cleaned her mom's face with the back of her palm, "mom, are you crying cause you miss us?"Isabella asked.
Instead of answering their questions, she hugged her two children more, holding them dearly as if scared they may be taken away again.
Sarah and Liam had already driven a distance away waiting for their boss's next instruction.
Drake Bell however watched as the mother and the kids bond together in love.
"I will take you home now, okay?" Lily asked as she stood from her squatting position. "I'll answer all your questions when we get home." She said this with smile across her lips.
Jayden looked at Drake Bell who simply looked like a bigger version of him and asked, "mom, who is he?"
Before Lily could reply, Drake Bell spoke, "I'm your dad."
Lily let out a loud scream of pain and agony. Tears rushed down her eyes even as her heart ripped apart into pieces. "This can not be true... No! My twin can not be dead... Tell me they are not dead, Drake..." She said painfully to Drake who stood rooted to the floor. He was dissapointed in himself that he couldn't protect the kids. "I won't believe they are dead. I must see them," Lily said and Drake Bell immediately walked with her outside. Soon, they were both inside the car heading towards Fiva river. Whereas, after Amelia and Mila confirmed that Drake Bell had driven away, Mila's face curled up into a victorious smirk, "now that we have get rid of the babies, you can easily win the Bell's family with your heart." "Mom, what if we are caught? I think we went too far..." Amelia was scared, a little bit worried. "No one will be able to trace it to us, just relax your mind and be calm, okay?" Mila persuaded Amelia but she was still a little troubled. She even felt a little bit ba
As usual, Lily would check on her kids before retiring to bed every night, she knew for surety that they would have slept but she was found of giving them a night kiss and ensuring their temperature was cool before eventually going to sleep. On entering the children's room, she was shocked to see that the children were absent. She even walked closer to the bed and pulled off the duvet from the bed but still, the kids were no where to be found. She checked the toilet but couldn't find them so she immediately sped out and began to call out their names as she checked every hooks and crannies of the house. When she checked the balcony which was the last place she hadn't checked, she still didn't find them there. The fear in her heart increased. Where could her children be? Did someone take them away cause they can't just walk away by themselves. She then swiftly ran to Drake Bell's room. She planted a loud knock on the door and in no time, the door got opened. Drake Bell could already
Lily didn't contend with him at all. After the passionate kiss, she looked blankly at him and asked, "why is that?""Why are you here?" Drake Bell ignored her question and asked. As he pressed his gaze on her, he couldn't help but adore how extremely pretty she was. "I.. I just want to be sure you really allowed Amelia in," Lily said. "I did. She's going to be my wife, can't I allow her in?" Drake Bell teased. "Of course you can, " Lily threw her hands in the air and said, "I should go." As she took a few steps away, Drake Bell walked swiftly after her and soon went to stand before her, blocking her from moving, "you are more important to me than anyone right now." Lily stood without knowing exactly what to say. What she really wished was for him to send Amelia away but what right does she has to say that? "You don't really want Amelia in my room, do you?" Drake Bell asked. "You can do what you want, Drake. Forget the fact that I came to your doorstep." Lily was already feeling
Whereas, Lily was driven back to Drake Bell's mansion by Alexander Bell. While they were inside the car, Alexander Bell loosened up and had a lively conversation with the kids. Infact, when he pulled his car before Drake Bell's mansion, the kids were reluctant to step down. They so much loved his company. At the end, Alexander Bell promised the kids to show up sooner to them, afterwards, the kids and Lily stepped down and walked inside the mansion. Alexander Bell sighed as soon they dissapeared, he mumbled, "this is getting more sophisticated!" As he made an attempt to start the ignition of his car, his phone rang and seeing whom the caller ID was, he answered it, "hello mum." "Alexander, I thought you said you are bringing Lily over today? I've been at the airport since and didn't see any traces of your plane," the person speaking was Alexander's mother. She was now living in Italy. "Things didn't go as planned. But in a few more weeks, I'll bring her over," Alexander Bell said.
"I think we should inform daddy," Isabella said, obviously referring to Drake Bell. "How do we do that when we are not even with phone," Jayden said, still peeping quietly at both adults who were having a very serious conversation. Lily felt trapped. She felt extremely stuck, being taken to another country is a very crazy move cause she might never have the chance to escape again. "Mr. Alexander, you have to send my kids and I back," Lily said seriously but Alexander instead tried to place his hand on hers but she swiftly removed her hand. "Don't even touch me." Alexander looked at her quietly and then took his face away. Whereas, at Drake Bell's office, he and his assistants sat on the seats present and were both monitoring the movement of the plane that Lily was from their laptop. "Sir... It seems the plane is heading towards Italy," Sarah spoke up. Drake Bell who had his face set squarely on the monitor before him looked for a few more minutes then immediately raised his hea
When Lily saw that Drake Bell was quiet, she spoke again, "I guess that's a yes, I should leave." When Lily stood in an attempt to leave, Drake Bell quickly held her hand, "Michael wants to take you and my kids on a vacation?" "They are my kids too," Lily said, wondering why he didn't say 'our kids.' "it's just a vacation." "Do you trust Michael?" Drake Bell asked. "I do." Lily said. "Going out for vacation will make me happy. Please let me!" Lily knew for sure that if Drake Bell didn't allow her, no matter how she try to force it, it will be impossible still. "Be safe, Lily!" Drake Bell said sadly. Since it will make her happy plus it's just a vacation not like she's leaving him forever, then he should just allow it. Lily was glad he allowed it so she stood and mumbled, "thank you." The following day, Lily and the kids alongside Alexander could be seeing walking towards Alexander's private jet. Jayden spoke, "Mr. Alexander, are you my mom's boyfriend?" Lily furrowed her brow
