Jeff sat in his study rubbing his eyes. Claire dashed into Adrian's room with her heart in her throat and Paul stood frozen in the hallway watching her go.She skidded to the bedside and her eyes scanned Adrian's small body looking for whatever had made the sound that pulled her in here."Baby?" Her voice came out shaky. "Adrian, can you hear me?"Then she saw his fingers on his right hand twitched. It was a very small movement and barely noticeable, but it happened again as Claire stared down at his hand."Oh my God." Claire whispered and grabbed his fingers carefully. Jeff gritted his teeth and walked back into the hospital. He gritted his teeth in rage. "Sit" Jeff told Claire who had been pacing for two hours and Claire had stopped pacing because her legs wouldn't hold her up anymore.She slowly sat in the waiting room chair with her knees pulled up to her chest and Jeff sat three chairs down staring at the floor.
