Chapter 41

Becky

The loud, painful sound of my father's palm resounded on my face, turning my cheek as white as snow. My father had slapped me.

My face was forcefully cocked towards the left side as a tear rolled down my cheek.

"Father!" I called,

"Shut the hell up Becky, shut it!" He yelled back at me.

I knew the reason for his rage, but I decided to play ignorant and deny every single allegations.

"What happened? I decided to trust you once again, and this is how you pay me? We had a simple deal to close Becky and yet you chose that bastard of a man over your own family?"

I remained silent, mostly because my words were stuck in my throat.

I could see the anger in his eyes. The anger that made him almost want to strangle me.

"I'm sorry father. It wasn't intentional." I replied, hoping he would believe me.

"Intentional? Do you still take me for a fool Becky? I can see through your lies because you're my daughter."

He still does not have a way of proving it, so I thought I still had a chance in
