Sarah…

Because of me, Hayden had to forfeit everything and head back to New York. Throughout the ride, I wasn't in my right state of mind as the only person I could think of was my father.

I had read about his condition on the news, and it wasn't something that needed to be joked with. Even though I hated him for abandoning me and casting me aside, I was still immensely worried.

My legs and hands kept shaking repeatedly. I couldn't control it. Hayden came closer to me and held my shaky hands, but that wasn't enough to keep me calm.

"He'll be fine Sarah, trust me." He assured me, but then I shook my head in disapproval.

"You don't understand Hayden…. I really don't wanna…"

He pulled me into a tight embrace even before I could complete my statement, making me cry even more on his shoulders.

Very soon, we were back to New York. I rushed out of the plane and headed straight for the car that had come to pick us up.
