Bite-Size Luna is the novella prequel to A Queen Among Alphas, book 1 in the Queen Among series. In this series I take supernatural mythology you're familiar with and give it my own spin. So, for reference, there are some things I should make clear in case you haven't read any of the Queen Among books.1. Werewolves are not called werewolves in this universe, they are called 'mutolupus'.2. A fated mate or soulmate is called an 'animai'.3. All mutolupus' were created by the Warrior Goddess, Morrtemis4. Where is my damn sneaker? I’ve torn my entire room apart looking for the damn thing and now I’m going to be late. I drop to the floor and reach my hand under my bed feeling around until my hand connects with what definitely feels like a sneaker. I pull it out and sure enough, it’s my missing shoe. “Gotcha!” I cheer. 'I can’t believe it took you this long to find a shoe. I love morning training. Watching my pack members gather together to help each other get stronger, not just for their own sake but for the betterment of the pack, is a rewarding experience. My dad always used to prefer training away from the pack or just with his council and it never sat well with me. As training continues I step away and make my way around the group like always to assess everyone during training. I want to see how they’re interacting with one another and look for areas where they may need improvement if any. 'Yay, here we go again,' says Atlas, rolling his eyes. This is our least favourite part. Every time I do this, almost every female I pass goes out of their way to get my attention. Tossing of the hair, licking of the lips, batting of the eyelashes, some even being brazen enough to try and ‘brush’ past me. I hate it. Are some of them attractive? I race home as fast as I can and fly up the stairs to jump in the shower. My stomach is snarling, demanding its daily offerings, but I just don’t have time to eat right now.
