Chapter 53: We get locked up

Clara's POV

It doesn't take a genius to guess what's happening here or what they are seeing because we surely weren't some mannequins who were able to move and our every movement was watched with pure shock on their faces who wouldn't shut their gaping mouths and blink their eyes.

"Keep doing whatever you guys were doing. We're just gonna go from here." I said in a whisper, waving my hand dismissal in air.

Janice got up, silence roaming in the atmosphere. Even Ruby and my mother-in-law were here. What did those shapeshifters fill in their mind?

I waited as Janice stared at me then, shifting her eyes from me to Ivy as her breathing picked up and she ran up to him.

"Ivy!" Janice called, jumping on him with a hug.

"Hey! What does this mean?" I asked, baffled with their interaction.

And I do not want my best friend near my dumb brother.

"You both need to come up with a new insulting nickname. He
