Chapter 40 - It's Belle Perez

Everyone froze on their feet when the thundering voice interrupted the drama while Phil instantly cupped Belle's tearful face to check on her. He tidy her hair that were all splayed messily around her face and worriedly wiped her wet cheeks. 

"We've seen enough of this drama and it's getting absurd" the elegant voice of a woman floated in the air which made everyone gape in embarrassment. They all forgot that they have guests and they seemed to have witnessed the indecent commotion. 

Belle just bowed her head to hide her tears from everyone while Phil is holding her and whispering that she will be okay. She felt more embarrassed, now that the guests seemed to have watched them, although her back was at the door.
