11. Disappointment

After that rest, Diana fed me.

She told me mate was still in the doctor's office so I thought the whip must have been really serious.

I looked at my back a couple of times.

My back was filled with cuts and scars. Kyra didn't manage to heal them entirely, therefore having a scar. She had always blamed herself. But I didn't.

I always thought myself as a hideous girl. Who has so many scars people can't even count. They're just cuts here cuts there, all over. 

But the 9 whips, stood out from my other scars.

Now, I was heading to the doctor's office to check on mate. But I doubt they will let me see him considering I'm nothing but a she-wolf in their eyes.
