8. Heated Call
Beth walked back to her house in a frenzy, lucky that all the private students in her course were currently on semester break, and that meant studying with her is also off. At least Beth could clear her frantic mind. Along the way, she blamed herself for being too rash in making decisions, why did she have to agree to a request from that annoying Burger! Tomorrow she has to go to the head office to meet the man… 'Ouch.. what should I talk to him then? Do I have to be stubborn and ask Logan to call off the goddamn marriage? Or… aghh…' Beth's daydream was suddenly interrupted by a ringing tone on her cell phone.
Beth walked towards the housing where her parents' house was, she had just gotten off the public bus when the call came in.
