Everything went black as the golden dust disappeared and suddenly I was thrust back into the reality of my life, back into the blackness that only I could see. As the darkness wrapped around my eyes, I slowly lifted my eyelids and felt my more notable senses return, as I heard the beeping of what I could only guess as a heart monitor. It was an odd sensation as I moved my fingers, feeling the smooth hairless skin that was once fur and feeling the aches that ran up and down my arms as I curled and uncurled my fingers. It was an odd feeling of not being able to hear every sound that was going on around me and an even odder one when I felt the vibrations of something moving on my chest. It was fluffy and soft, reminding me of a tiny pillow filled with memory foam or feathers and as I slowly raised my head to touch it, something slightly wet touched my skin causing goosebumps to rise on my furless arms.
