CHAPTER SEVENTY-EIGHT

Dimitri's POV

I stormed out of Mikhail's estate with rage burning through my veins.

My fists were clenched so tight my nails drew blood from my palms.

Boris quickly gave me back my clothes. His hands were shaking.

"Thank you," I said coldly. "Now forget you ever saw me."

"Yes sir," Boris nodded frantically. "I never saw you."

I got into my car and slammed the door shut. My hands gripped the steering wheel and my mind was racing.

What now? What the hell was I supposed to do now?

I had no backup, no plan, no help.

The council was too powerful and Viktor Orlov had too many men.

I could not fight them alone. I would lose and Irina would die.

"Think Dimitri," I whispered to myself. "Think!"

I started the engine but I did not drive away yet.

Where would I even go? I did not know where they took her.

Viktor's estate? The council headquarters? Some secret location?

Moscow was huge and she could be anywhere.

My phone suddenly rang and the sound made me jump.
