“You have a party and fail to tell me?”

Misery’s face showed ecstatic happiness when she heard the voice and whirled around to face Kane.

“Of course I invited you,” Misery said innocently. “Didn’t you hear my invitation?”

Kane had taken everything in upon his arrival. Several demons were coming out of the rift but to his advantage, they weren’t sticking around to help the demons that had released them. He strode through the crowd of vampires, mentally smirking when they backed away from him, giving him room to approach Misery.

“I think you’ve played long enough,” Kane stated.

Cyrus looked over at Misery with wide eyes. “No, you said I could play.”

Misery rolled her eyes at Kane, “Children, give them an inch…”
