3-Dinner

James’s POV

With four packs willing to send trainers it’s easy to split up who will go where. We separate the East into four quarters and Edward and I are elected as commanders. The idea is to have a standing arrangement between all the packs for mutual assistance.

I text with Kassandra to go over the plan-

Hey! I will be needing you to travel a bit training other packs. You down?- James

10-4 Alpha- Kass

I am standing in front of my door ready to take my mate to dinner. I inhale deep to get ready and I open the door.

“Sweet mother, you are back. Did I tell you before you are hot? Because mate bond or not, I need to cool down. How much longer until we can slip to the sheets?”

“Hey beautiful ready for dinner?”

“Oh Just ignore my question. Ok. Yeah I’m ready.” She tosses her red hair over her shoulder.

I smile at her and pull her close for a hug. I kiss the side of her head and smile.

“The answer is three. Let’s get through dinner and I’m all yours. Mind *Kiss* Body *Kiss* Soul *Kiss*”

“I might make it through dinner! Might!” Erin smiles at me and I swear I melt.

I’ve been waiting years for my mate, and Erin is everything I dreamed. She is spunky, tall, self confident, practically perfect in every way. And the moon goddess fated her to me. Yes she talks a lot and very fast, very very fast, but I can live with that. I get this she-wolf for the rest of my life and damn I’m blessed.

“So at dinner did you tell them you and I are fated, because I want to sit with you and not my brother. I mean I know there is a place for me, but I want to be next to you. OMG Crystal is here wait until I walk in with you, she is going to die simply die. We can hold a funeral before we leave! So glad I packed a black dress. Do you know Crystal from Sky Lark? She is like your second most obsessive fan. I was totally your most obsessive. And now I’m your Luna. Crystal is going to die!”

I am smiling like an idiot, I’m pretty sure she hasn’t taken a breath.

“Erin,” I interrupt. “Baby you asked me a few questions and I didn’t have room to respond. So hold on, yes I informed the staff that you were my Luna. You will be pleased to know we are sitting with Sky Lark pack as well as Blood Moon. Don’t forget to breathe, baby. Breathe!”

She takes long breaths and I feel her calm down. “We need a signal for when I’m rabbling. Something between us.”

“How about I lean in and kiss your neck? To everyone it will appear affectionate and loving, but you will know it means calm down and breathe.”

“Sounds extremely sexy,” she smiles at me. “Try it so I know what it feels like.”

We are standing at the door to the dinner so I lean in and place a gentle kiss where my mark will be shortly. I feel her goosebumps pop and her breath catch.

“Will that work?” I ask smirking.

“Yes baby that will work.” She smiles.

I interlock our fingers and open the door for her to enter. We make our way to the table.

“Edward,” Erin greets her brother. I shake his hand. “Crystal, it’s so good to see you, Alpha Adam, Luna Kate. Crystal, you wont believe what happened this morning. I was mated to Alpha James Lopez.”

She squealed a little at the end and I shook Alpha Adam and Luna Kate’s hands while she was talking to Crystal who I acknowledged with a nod.

I notice the place cards at our seats and I am seated between Crystal and Edward. Erin’s card is on the other side of Edward’s. I look at Edward who moves down I sit between Erin and Edward.

“Oh,” Crystal exclaims. “I thought it was odd the way they had the place cards. Sorry I moved them. Congratulations.”

Even I could see her smile was fake.

Crystal and Erin talked nonsense and Luna ceremonies. I had to kiss her neck three times before the entrees.

Edward looked amused after the third kiss and leaned close to whisper so only I could hear.

“Is that your rabble sign?”

I nod.

“Your lips are going to get chapped.” He gives me a mischievous grin.

I chuckle as I hear her start again for the fourth time. Edward smirks as I lean close her.

“I’m starting to think you are doing it one purpose so I keep kissing you in front of Crystal,” I whisper very close to her ear. She smiles and then makes it to desert without any further need.

The Alphas and I talk training. Alpha Adam has long believed in the importance of training. Crystal started training at age 3, like most harden Alphas. Alpha Adam offered warriors to assist in our training efforts. We gladly accepted. That make five packs willing to train.

“I must say the two of you have similar kills but Alpha James managers a softer image. How is that?” Luna Kate asks.

“He’s better looking,” Erin answers. The table laughs, but Erin looks serious. “It’s true my brother is not very photogenic. His pastie skin looks terrible in photos.”

“You have the same skin,” Edward reminds her.

“Yes but I use makeup so I don’t look horrible. If you let me fix you up before a photo you could look half as good as James.”

Edward huphs and I smirk.

“I think it’s James’s eyes,” Crystal mused trying to get me to look at her. With Edward next to me I don’t take the bait. I just keep my mouth shut.

“Oh yes my Alpha’s eyes are amazing.” Erin repeated, her I look at her and smile.

“I honestly believe the public likes me better because I am often with my Beta, and head female warrior. I think they are more looking at Kassandra.”

“Since she was a pup that girl has been a looker,” Alpha Adam said nodding.

“The Byatt girl is exceptional. I had so hoped our son David was her mate,” Luna Kate said. “Lucky is the wolf fated to her.”

“How have I never met this exceptional creature?” Edward asks almost laughing.

“Now that shocks me,” Alpha Adam states. “As into training as you are and the top female warrior in the world isn’t on your radar? Strike that top warrior she is better than males. You call yourself an Alpha.”

The table laughs again. I don’t think Edward liked being teased. He has a sour expression.

“You can meet at my Luna Ceremony. I’ll need a few weeks to plan it” Erin gushes.

“Ten days my dear. That is pack tradition,” I inform her rubbing her shoulder.

“Oh geez I better get there get the lay of the land and get to work. When will invites go out?”

“Tomorrow my mother is taking care of that. You can add any names you want. They will go out the next day.” I smile and squeeze her hand.

“So glad your mother is here to help me.” Erin had gotten flustered.

We finally are done with dinner. Erin and I start kissing on the elevator. We make it to our door before we start ripping each other’s clothes off. We make it to the bedroom of our suite and we are both completely naked. She said she is a virgin so this is going to hurt her. I pull away and get a towel from the bathroom and lay it down. Erin smiles and lays on top of it. I know she is wet, it I want her dripping. I find her clit with my tongue and start sucking gently. I use my finger to explore her insides. She is so tight. We snuggle up and sleep for an hour before we shower and head home.
