The evening atmosphere was thick with strain. It had the scent of pine, wet soil, and something darker—blood.

Ronan stood atop a stony precipice, gazing across the valley that separated his territory from the nearby pack. A crafty smile played at his lips while he observed shadows shifting in the far distance beneath.

Numerous scoundrels slumped in front of him. They appeared untamed and shattered, their eyes shining with desire and disdain. These were not ordinary wolves. They were pariahs, contorted by agony and fury. Perilous. Precarious. A few had marks that stretched across their faces, while others trembled as if struggling to contain themselves. A couple of exposed yellowed teeth appeared at the noise of Ronan's boots crunching on the gravel.

Just what Ronan needed.

"You know the plan," Ronan said, his voice firm and cold. "Don’t touch the Moonstone Pack. Not yet. Your target is to cause confusion. Burn their stores. Spill some blood. Draw out their Alpha. Make them bleed—but not enough to end them."

Ronan moved closer, his aura both authoritative and eerie. Even the wildest among them took a small step back as he came closer. "This is not about victory." It's related to diversion. We agitate the wasps so Dereek doesn’t notice the snake slithering into his den.

A big rogue moved ahead. "What happens if we encounter Dereek’s warriors?" His voice was raspy, his nose crooked from a previous fracture.

Ronan's gaze tightened, dimly shimmering with a red hue. "Kill them." Leave no evidence. Hide the corpses. Shatter their channels of communication. "I want chaos—not conflict."

The rogues nodded and slipped into the darkness. Their forms transformed and blended into the darkness, feet soundless on the ground.

The battle had started.

Inside Moonstone Mansion, all appeared tranquil, but it was a tranquility that sent chills down their spine. The vast chambers resonated with the soft ticking of clocks and far-off footsteps. Torches mounted on the stone walls flickered, creating shifting shadows.

In her room, Diva was perched on the side of her bed. Her hands clutched the sheets firmly, her complexion wan. Perspiration adhered to her forehead, and her breathing became rapid. She had not shifted in the past five minutes.

She had a dream, a horrifying one. Fires. Yelling. Wolves in distress. A burning forest. And at the center of it, a wolf with silver eyes remained unscathed by the fire.

She did not know what it means. However, it made her feel empty inside. It looked like something is about to break out cause the dream doesn't look ordinary.

She quickly go up from the bed and walked over to the window and looked outside at the peaceful, moonlit grounds. All appeared calm. Trees moved softly in the wind. The guards on night duty were conversing, at ease. However, there was something about the quietness that seemed off.

She traced her fingers on the window’s edge and murmured, "Something’s approaching."

In the manor's battle chamber, a mystical gem mounted on the wall emitted crackling sounds. A voice emerged—low, hurried, fearful.

"Alpha Dereek, important notification. The Rouges are here, many of them."

Derek was already standing, muscles taut and eyes alert. The space surrounding him was illuminated by gentle orange candlelight. A big map of the area spread out on the table before him, with colored pins indicating various regions. He had devoted the evening to planning for border expansions—but now the actual game had begun.

"Rogues?" he asked tightly.

"Yes, Alpha. And they’re tearing through everything. It's like they’re trying to cause chaos."

Dereek swore quietly. He had expected Ronan to make a move—but not so soon.

Just then, the door opened and a young guard rushed inside. The guard should nineteen or even older but he looked nervous and sweat clung to forehead.

"Alpha, your Luna, Diva seems troubled. She mentioned something about fire."

Derek’s jaw tightened. Coincidence? It's can't possibly be a coincidence.

"Watch her closely," he said. "But be discreet. She’s not just another wolf."

"Yes, Alpha."

Once the guard left, Derek turned back to the stone. "Tell Greyhide we’ll send backup at sunrise. Double our patrols. Wake the second and third divisions. If Ronan wants a fight, we’ll give him one."

Still, part of his mind stayed on Diva. Her recent changes. Her stubbornness. And now a vision?

There was something ancient waking up inside her. He could feel it. And that made her both powerful—and dangerous. A weapon, if handled right. A disaster, if left unchecked.

Far away, on the edge of Greyhide land, the attack hit like a storm.

The rogues came fast and quiet. Fire spread through the barns. Warriors scrambled in confusion. Screams cut through the night air. Chaos took over. Horses panicked and ran. Children were rushed into cellars. The smell of smoke and fear blended thick in the air.

From a high point, Ronan watched it all with a pleased look. He could hear the cries even from his perch. Below him, his most trusted rogue commander gave him a silent nod and faded back into the fray.

"Let Derek go save them," he muttered. "Let him wear his hero's mask while I take everything from under him."

His eyes glowed in the dark.

The game had started.

Back in the Mansion, Diva sat close to the fireplace, hugging her knees. She still felt shaken. Her tea had gone cold on the table beside her. The flames danced and cracked, but they didn’t warm her.

She hadn’t told anyone the full vision. She wasn’t even sure how to explain it. But deep inside, she knew this was just the beginning.

She looked toward the mirror across the room. For a moment, she saw a flash of silver in her eyes.

She blinked, and it was gone.

Her heart raced.

What exactly is happening to me?

Outside the window the wind picked as it howled through the trees.

And far off everyone in the mansion could hear the first sounds of war echoed like a distant thunder.

The hunt had begun.

Dereek’s instincts screamed—danger wasn’t just near, it had already slipped through.Inside the war chamber, torches flickered on the stone walls, casting shaky shadows. Footsteps echoed as Dereek stood at the end of a long wooden table, its surface scratched and worn from years of use. His hands rested firmly on the table while he stared down at a map. Thick red circles marked the eastern side—Silverfang territory. Reports of attacks had been coming in all night. These weren’t random attacks. They were planned.“They need backup,” said Markus, his trusted beta. His voice was low and serious as he stepped closer, eyes scanning the map. “The Silverfangs stood by us in the border war. If

The moon hung low over the mansion, surrounding the properties around with a gentle silver light. The air that passed was gentle and the usual cries of nearby wolves were strangely absent, as if the nocturnal beings sensed an impending threat. Kieran stood outside the mansion, covered in shadows. He carefully examined the area before slowly opening the iron gate wide enough for one person to go through. The person who entered was tall and thin, moving swiftly like a knife in the darkness. He wore the uniform of the palace guards, but the scent around him did not belong to any of the guards in the mansion. No, his scent was unfamiliar and carried the smell of an outcasts. "You were slow," Kieran whispered, swiftly shutting the gate after the trespasser. "I needed to confirm I wasn't being followed," the spy answered softly, his voice coarse and professional. Patrols were present close to the ridge. I needed to go around twice. Kieran gave a terse nod and gestured for him to follow.

  • Blood Oath Of The Alpha    Diva's Discovery

The setting of the sun poured through the tall windows of the estate casting down warm golden rays across the marble floors. But inside Diva's heart the warm breeze has began to cause comfort than chill inside her body. Something was out of the ordinary. She felt it in the guards' actions, in the silent calm that hung in the hallways like fog. She had reassured herself it was trivial—that maybe she was just being excessively careful. Beside Derek left not too long ago and perhaps the palace seems so calm because the guards are more relaxed and comfortable whenever he's not around. As she moved around in search of something to distract her a bit, she walked into a room, a place she had seen from a distance before. Her wolf remained still. There was no notice, no discomfort. Just curiosity. Perhaps that was what troubled her the most. She swung open the large oak door located at the corridor's end. It groaned in objection, uncovering a space heavy with dust and darkness. • Blood Oath Of The Alpha    The Power Within

The night in the pack mansion was in serene silence. The moonlight streaming through the windows created long shadows on the golden floors. Diva stood near Derek's door, her hands moist and her heart pounding hard in her chest. She was aware that he was indoors. His fragrance lingered in the atmosphere—recognizable, profound, and undeniably his. He had come back earlier that day from the nearby pack, and although everyone in the house was aware of his return, none had spotted him yet. The only ones stationed outside were the guards. She had been waiting for the right time to go in. She turned the handle and gently pushed the door open without knocking. Derek stood by the window, slightly turned to her direction. The moonlight illuminated the contours of his face, emphasizing the strain in his shoulders. He didn't face her, but he could sense that she was the one who walked in. "You're back," Diva whispered softly, her tone steady despite her chaotic thoughts. He then turned, hi

You said we needed to get out in case someone returns.”“I know. But something’s not right. This isn’t just a hit-and-run. It feels… intentional. Clean. His arms were crossed, but as soon as he saw Diva, his expression softened with concern. He stepped forward, scanning her from head to toe."You’re hurt," he said."Not badly," she replied, her voice lower than usual. Her eyes held something new. Not just strength—but fury, restrained like a dam about to break.Caleb led her to a nearby bench carved from rough stone. He crouched before her, inspecting the scratch on her shoulder and the faint bruises blossoming along her jaw."What happened?" he asked.Diva exhaled. “One

It cracked against his shin, throwing him off balance for just a second—long enough for her to strike. Her claws extended mid-swing, slicing across his chest. • Blood Oath Of The Alpha    The Calm Before

The sun has not yet risen for the day as it was still early in the morning when Kieran stood at the edge of the northern boundary with his eyes looking left and right to see if anyone was coming. He kept glancing over his shoulder, anxious yet composed. No sentries patrolled this stretch of the forest wall; he’d made sure of that by altering the patrol schedule earlier in the week. Everything was lining up perfectly.A shadow emerged from the tree line—quick, quiet, lethal. The rogue. He was lean, sinewy, his coat dusted with ash to dim the silver of his fur. Kieran raised a clawed hand, and the rogue halted just beyond the clearing."You're late," Kieran said under his breath, glancing toward the towering den-lodge in the distance."You changed the meeting time twice," the rogue replied, voice cold and rasping. "I don't like games."Kieran’s lips curved into a half-smile. "Neither does Ronan. So don’t screw this up."He stepped aside, revealing a narrow breach in the stone barrier. T

  • Blood Oath Of The Alpha    The Weight Of Secrets

The sun started its slow descent, creating long shadows across the clearing where the practice area met the woods. The wooden training sword she held felt heavier than it did an hour before. Still, she stayed with determined look as all her focus was fixed on Caleb.“Let's go again,” she said with an authoritative voice. Caleb stopped for a minute as he placed his hands on his waist. "Are you certain?" It was six rounds. "I'm quite certain I sensed my shoulder click in the final one." “Once more,” she reiterated, not diverting her gaze. With a weary grin and a defeated nod, he lifted his sword and advanced toward her. The sound of wood striking wood resonated in the clearing as they advanced, quick and purposeful. Caleb was powerful and talented—but Diva was unyielding. She evaded a hit, pivoted down, and knocked his legs out from beneath him. He landed on the ground with a sigh. "Don't let me upset you again next time," he said quietly, massaging his back. Diva didn’t smile. She

They hadn’t seen Alpha Derek like this in a while—not since the Luna was chosen. When he finally appeared at the head of the hall, flanked by guards, the entire room fell silent. His towering frame radiated power. His jaw was tight, eyes cold, and posture demanding authority.“I’m not here to beg,” Derek’s voice sliced through the silence. “And I don’t owe anyone an explanation.”Murmurs stirred again, but his next glare silenced them.“I chose to be absent the day the Luna was introduced. That was my decision.
