Meera gets her wings

In a dark room with four walls where there are no windows, Meera scratched her nails on the walls and her mouth moved as she was muttered something inaudible. She did not know how many nights have passed since she was locked up as every second that passed was night for her. She felt like she would go mad any minute and worse still, she hasn’t had food or water, or even bathed. But that was nothing compared to what she was feeling at the moment. Her throat is burning and she needs something other than water to quench her thirst. Also, her back aches far worse than she has ever imagined that she felt that her bones would push out.
