Her blood was like a liquid fire…
Just a drop of the virgin’s blood on the stone of Amethyst could bring back the greatest evil of all. The one that provoked horror and terror to man’s heart. The one that enslaved those who were weak and those who are robust, yet not strong enough to withstand it.
She could only stare with her eyes widened in fear and horror as the five men in red cloaks and hoods circled a sealed crypt with a weird symbol on the top, murmuring and chanting words she had never heard before and they weren’t even witches!
With uncertainty evolving in her chest, adding layers upon layers, she toiled with the ropes shackled tightly around her wrist and ankles to a stone pillar while she let out hummed sounds from her sealed mouth. But the more she struggled, the more the silver ropes cut through her flesh, dragging out blood that dripped on the floor, and the more the strength in her slowly withering, she could almost feel something sucking her blood like a harpy.
And suddenly, the words from their mouths stopped and their head hidden in the darkness of the cloaks reeled towards her direction. She flinched as she saw their red pupils, the only feature shimmering through their hoods.
Please -she wanted to scream but only let out more meaningless sounds from her throat, striving with the silver ropes when one of the cloaked men walked towards her with an Amethyst stone and a magical dagger, her breaths hitched and fastened as he walked closer and closer, his eyes boring through her face, making horror rise in her chest.
She shook her head violently, pleading with her eyes, her face getting wet with salty tears, her being shaking but nothing seemed to stop the man as he walked even closer till he was barely two feet away from where she was tied and without any remorse, he grabbed her wrist and cut off her little finger, a hummed screamed erupted from her throat while her blood dripped on the Amethyst stone and instantly, it came to life, glowing so brightly and instantly, the man dumbed the dagger and wheeled back to the tomb but as he got closer, the brightened stone got dimmer and dimmer and before he could place the stone on the tomb, it completely lost its power, dying, darkening even, losing its original dark purple color.
“It’s not her!” One of the men growled in anger, wheeling as he walked towards the tied girl, picking the dagger from the floor. “It’s not her!” He repeated, tearing off the clothe that sealed her mouth, giving her a chance to cry out in agony.
“Kill her then and bring the next one!”
“No, please. I DON’T WANT TO DIE!!” She screamed but that only fueled the man as he lifted the dagger and without thinking, buried it in her chest.
“AHHHH”
“””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””
Almost instantly, she jerked up awake, panting and gasping as she brought the blankets up to her chest, resting her back on the wall of her bed. She placed her hand over her chest, trying to calm her racing heart, taking a breather.
Slowly, she reeled her head to the window where the soft yet chilling and creepy breeze was blowing in from and was met with the darkness of the night, with the moon glowing brightly in the sky and the night owl could be heard. She sighed and averted her gaze but the sound of her door cracking open made her lift her head once more and a smile crept to her face as she saw the two little beings walking through her door with a little lamp guarding their way.
“Grandma?”
A tiny voice called out.
“Gwen, Odessa…!” She called out to the little beings as they walked towards her bed after putting the lamp away.
“Are you alright grandma, we heard you screaming and got worried”
She tilted her head, staring in the pure hazel, innocent eyes of Gwen. She opened her arms and the little girl jumped into the embrace of her grandma while Odessa sat on the bed.
“I’m fine, grandma just had a bad dream”
“Is it about those red guys again Grandma, did they get you again?” Odessa grilled cluelessly, her eyes being the deepest aquamarine.
Grandma smiled as her gaze went over the two five years old girls and nodded. “Yes”
“Do you want to talk about it, you might feel better” Gwen blinked innocently.
“How about I tell you a story instead” she beamed and they nodded eagerly. “Once upon a time, in the creations of our world, there was an Alpha, he was ADDANC, he was known as the supreme ruler of all, putting the humans and every being under the moon into slavery, ADDANC was cruel, he wasn’t a good king, the people suffered in his hands but as they say, nothing lasts for forever, good or bad. ADDANC became old, but he didn’t want to die and the best way of living forever was inhabiting the body of another with the help of the true blood virgin. Her blood was like liquid fire, just a drop on the Amethyst stone could bring wonders but also destruction. Her death could give him immortality but just when he was about to kill Isolde, an arrow penetrated through her heart, and almost instantly, Isolde died and ADDANC’s plans were ruined and in an instant, his soul was sealed in a tomb but not forever,”
“But why grandma, he is bad!” Odessa whined.
“Because he could be brought back to life with the blood of the true blood virgin and the Amethyst stone,”
“Who shot the arrow that killed Isolde, Grandma?” Gwen asked and the elderly woman stared down at her with a sad smile.
“Her mate, Kristion did. He did it to save the world from ADDANC but he lost her soul instead and lived in sorrow and regret for the remaining rest of his days”
“Would ADDANC come back?”
The woman stopped, thinking over Odessa’s words. “He is to be remained sealed inside his tomb, be the undead spirit for all eternity. But if he was to be released, he would rise as a walking plague upon mankind, an unholy being with the strength of ages, powers that one could not comprehend, power of invincibility…” she paused before continuing… “Let’s hope they don’t succeed,” she beamed and ruffled both their hairs before ushering them out from her room.
The smile on her face instantly dropped as soon as they were out the door while her gaze went to her left hand where the little finger remained missing.
“He’s coming girls with the help from both of you, your fates are cursed, only doom lurks over your heads and I’m sorry for being the cause of it”

Odessa let out a content sigh as she looked down at the dazzling pack on a high cliff. A smile graced her lips at how tiny it was from up here. It had been years yet it felt like days. Days since she and Gwen lost their first home, days since they started a new journey in Black Fur Pack, days since everything fell apart and they fell crumbled as well. Quilt? Odessa had learned to live with it because she knew it would never go away. It would always be there, lingering in her heart, reminding her of the mistake she made that cost the life of her best friend and the man she loved. Odessa had learned to live with that burden. Now she could only think back with a sad smile and wished she could turn back time but what was done was done and there was nothing she or anyone could do about it. Odessa sighed heavily with her shoulders dropping. She could only thank the goddess for giving her a new chance."Mom,"Odessa's shoulders tensed up and she looked behind her and there he stood, the o
Yarkona ran with all her might but she didn't go far as a wolf abruptly obstructed her path on the pack training ground. With a flip of her hand, the wolf soar across the field. "Filthy wolves!" She spat and galloped toward the forest but again, she hung back on her feet as Reuben and Evelyn came out from the woods."You have nowhere to run to witch!" Evelyn feud with a smirk as she cracked her knuckles.Yarkona jeered, lifting her palm that had a ball of shady energy. "I can take you out with ease,""Not on our watch!"Dashingly, Yarkona veered and there they were, Seth, Gwen, Ruel, Onyx, and their men, and lastly, Yarkona's eyes leveled on Raphael, the unrewarded child she raised. If it hadn't been her, he would have succumbed alongside his mother. Yarkona's eyes solidified and darkness enclosed her. They were all ungrateful and now, she would show them, suddenly, Yarkona was bored of running. Why not finish this once and for all? If she was going down, she would bring them with her
Odessa knew she'd be free of this monster inside of her soon, as well as the shackles around her wrist and ankle, and she knew she'd see her kid soon. It was only a matter of time, but she had no idea it would be this soon.Odessa cocked her head, peering at the kid who had just entered the little hut where she had been living for as long as she could remember. She slowly rose from the bed, and the chains made a loud noise on the floor. She noted the boy's familiar green eyes, how they boiled with tears, how his shoulders stiffened and his hands balled in tight fists.Odessa stood a foot away and didn't realize when the name slipped past her lips. "Raphael,"Raphael sobbed and wrapped his arms around Odessa, who remained still, trying to determine whether this was real or one of her numerous fantasies."Mom," Raphael sobbed on her shoulder.Odessa recovered from her fright and reached out to embrace her son. Her child! Odessa found herself wanting to scream with joy. Her kid was alive
"So, what do we have here?" Alpha Gallon grinned as he entered the dungeons, his gaze fixed on the victims. "It looks like your Alpha has abandoned you to your fate," he sneered. "You know it's so pleasant to watch you people like this, and soon, your alpha would join you or you'd join him in your graves," he grinned, then his gaze fell on Eloise and he looked in admiration. "So gorgeous like your mother," he said, stooping down to her level. He got ahead of himself and didn't realize the death daggers he was receiving as he reached out to touch her, but his wrist was snatched and he was hurled across the cell.Reuben surged to his feet, nearing the idiot Alpha who had deigned to touch his little sister in his presence, but before he could get any closer, he felt hands holding him back to find Alpha Gallon's men, he shook them off as if they were ants, but they were soon back on him, combating him to the floor."Get the hell away from him!" The girls leapt to their feet, but Alpha Gal
Two days letter, Raphael found himself back in the vaults, opening the cell his mate was kept in and trudging inside with a tray of food. Instantly, their heads jerked up to meet his, especially his mate who looked like she had seen an apparition.Raphael took his chances to get closer as he noticed Reuben was fast asleep. He squatted and hoisted the tray towards her."What are you doing??" Evelyn snarled and her aghast gaze swerved into a glare. "Aren't you hungry, you haven't eaten in a while," Raphael's tone came out meekly as he set his eyes only on his mate. It was like there was no one there except her.Evelyn sneered. "I rather starved to death than accept anything from you!"Hurt flashed in Raphael's eyes. "Why?"Evelyn gaped. Of all the idiots in the world, she was paired with the dumbest one! "You've got to be kidding me. Are you fucking blind, look what you freaking did to us and my home, you nearly killed my brother! go away now while Reuben is asleep!"Raphael looked ove
