Chapter 11 Murder Mystery

I arrived at college the next morning wearing the jacket over the tank top to conceal the wound on my arm. I was confident that Jonathan would come to college because I had requested him to do so the day before.

I knew he cared about me no matter what he said.

When I stepped into the classroom, I noticed Nora and Amir sitting on the second to last bench in the left row. I saw them after a month, and I knew I was indirectly hurting them, but I didn't know how to explain my feelings for Jonathan to them.

I walked over to them and sat behind them. They looked at me with surprise after turning their faces towards me because they hadn't expected to see me here at college.

They both gave me a tight hug after they recovered from their shock.

"Mia, how are you? I hope you're feeling better after a month." Nora inquired, concerned, and I just stared at her blankly because I didn't want to lie to them that I was fine. They both glanced at each other helplessly.
