Chapter 16 Our love Triumphed

He clasped my face and lifted my head from the pillow, bringing me closer to his face. As his breath caressed my face, a shiver ran down my spine. We locked our intense gazes on each other. We were so close that it was burning my body with untamed desire.

"Mia, I love you so much." As he finally confessed from the bottom of his heart, a solitary tear of contentment streamed down my cheek.

He continued, wiping away my tears. "You have no idea how much I love you. Before meeting you, I was extremely lonely." After hearing his pure and honest confession, I felt a great sense of serenity and closed my eyes, and my lips curled into a contented smile.

I couldn't believe he finally confessed his feelings. I felt as if I were dreaming and stared at him in disbelief.
