Chapter 36: Death Didn't Come

"Yes, but as you see, just a little trick I made and I got so weak." She smiled bitterly.

I was about to speak when all of the sudden, the ground went shaking. My eyes widened and I was about to hold Lucia when a huge crack of the ground went in between us, it grew larger by the moment, and showed a large mass of burning lava.

"Lucia!" I shouted in horror because we were at the opposite sides and there was a huge drift between us that would surely melt anything or anyone if one would fell to it.
