The night was cold and silent. The sounds of rustling leaves and twigs breaking could be heard as a dark figure slunk through the forest.

It moved with such a speed that it seemed like it was a blur. Not even a keen observer would notice the huge cat-like creature, as it whizzed past trees.

The giant cat-like beast suddenly took the form of a man, and he began to slowly walk towards a tree.

His hands were tucked into his pockets and his face, which had a slightly indifferent look, was revealed by the moon.

He stepped on some twigs, which produced some noise that reverberated in the silent environment. Some rodents startled by the sound scampered off to safety.

The man did not care less about the noise. He did not care if it had alerted anyone or gotten the attention of a deadly forest creature, like himself.

“Draven.” A feminine voice broke out, as a woman walked from behind the tree. “I have been expecting you.” She said to him, with a smile.

“Lilith” He responded, as he walked calmly towards her. His hands were still tucked into his pocket and his eyes scrutinized the lady in front of him.

The lady, Lilith, had caramel brown hair and skin. Her eyes were a deep blue color and her skin was spotless.

Her skin glimmered under the bright shining moon, giving off the aura of a seductive goddess. She was truly a beauty and could melt even the coldest of hearts, to succumb to her will.

She wore a deep black coat that covered her body, all the way to her knees. Her eyes were filled with a burning desire and not any kind of desire but they were filled with the desire to kill.

“I believe you’ve found her?” She said as she walked towards him, closing the distance between them. “The winter wolf will be disappointed with the name you have chosen, to blend with the humans.”

She placed her hands on his and ran them along his arms. The desire in her eyes brimmed intensely.

“How was she?” She asked. “Was she innocent, pure, or is she just like me?…” She smiled as she moved her fingers, heading for his jaws before he caught her hand mid-air.

“You promised to tell me how to get back my full strength. I have found her and you have to tell me.” He told her and slowly released his hold on her hand.

“Mmmm.” The lady said and took some steps back. Dipping her hand into her coat, she pulled out a paper.

Passing the paper to him, her playful manner, seemed to have faded away into thin air and was replaced by a cold look.

“Everything you need to know is in there.” She said and tucked her hands into her coat.

He looked at the piece of paper in his hands and slowly unfolded it, only to find nothing in it. There wasn’t a single word written in it.

“There is nothing in here.” He informed her, with slight frustration. He looked angrily but still regained his composure.

“Exactly.” The lady said and walked towards him. “That is a contract.” She said in almost a whisper to him.

“You want me to sign it?” He asked her with a look of astonishment on his face.

“Yes.” She replied. “I want you to sign it. I don’t trust you, Draven.” She told him and moved back.

“And you think I will succumb to a mere human?” he asked her with a smile.

“Let’s just say I don’t want to take any chances.” She simply said to him and gave a warm smile, a smile filled with deception and murderous intent.

With an elongated finger, he dug into his palm and watched as blood seeped from it. Then he allowed the few drops of blood to fall on the paper, creating a beautiful red pattern, before his wound healed at a very fast pace.

Lilith smirked as she received the piece of paper. “Don’t go back on your word or you will regret it, Draven, or should I say, Carl?.” She warned and licked her lips playfully.

He stood there, peering into her eyes expressionlessly. One would think, by her looks, that she was quite innocent and wasn’t able to harm a fly, but he knew not to be deceived.

He knew that behind all that mask, she was truly a merciless and cold-hearted killer, and have seen her slay a lot of people, without remorse.

….

Fritz five star hotel, is the most famous and the most controversial hotel there is in New York, as it was often used by wealthy movie industries for the production of movies.

Only prominent people with out-striking financial standards could afford such a luxury. Its unique, sacrosanct, and beautiful architecture, was enough to attract the attention of those in the hotel. The building had a spa, a club, and many other amenities to provide the best comfort.

In the club, a multicolored disco ball flashed around the room, creating a beautiful view, in the dark blanket. The club was filled with wealthy and high-class individuals, that had come to entertain themselves or have fun.

Some strippers, entertained the guests, as they spun and danced around their mounted poles, while a piece of slow jazz music played in the background.

Chase sat behind his table, twirling a glass of lemon cello in his hand. He was dressed formerly in a tuxedo and his hair was tied into a bun. He wore a ring on his left finger, which sparkled, whenever the lights shone on it and his eyes, were locked on one of the strippers, who constantly flashed him seductive looks.

He sipped from the glass, savoring the taste of the bitter Italian lemon. His eyes did not move away from the seductress but kept watching her every move, in satisfaction.

“Sir chase Adrian? ” Someone called in a husk voice, gaining his attention. He turned to look at the young man that stood beside him.

The young man's hair was combed back neatly and he was dressed formerly in a suit, just like chase was. He flashed a smile at Chase, revealing a set of multiple colored teeth, that changed at random, due to the lights of the disco ball.

“Yes,” Chase responded and stood up. “And you must be? " he asked, as he shook the hand of the young man.

“Tony Rodgers. ” The young man replied. “We’ve been expecting you, Please, follow me. ” He said and walked towards a door, that was located by the side of the bar.

There was a sturdy-looking man, standing right in front of the door, with a sign that reads “Keep off” on the door. The guard nodded and moved away, as soon as Chase and the young man approached the door.

“Make sure no one approaches the door. ” The young man said but his voice was drowned by the music.

Either way, the guard seemed to understand the warning, as he nodded in affirmation and opened the door for them to go through.

...

Chase and the young man, stood in a long hallway. Now, they couldn't hear the music that played at the club. Actually, they could still hear it but it had decreased greatly, to the point that one could hardly hear it.

The young man moved towards another door. He opened the door, and they both walked in, to be greeted by four people in the room.

There was a set of instruments for recording. One of the men, smiled at him (Chase), as soon as he walked into the room.

“Chase Adrian. " He said while beaming smiles at him. “Glad you could make it.” the man said and shook his hand.

“I have to keep my part of the deal, right?" Chase asked with a smile.

“You don't cease to amaze me.” the man, Mr. Jordan said and laughed.

“So where is she?” Chase asked as his eyes met a woman's. “Is she the one?” he asked.

Her hair was colored red, probably from dyeing. Her skin, smooth and spotless from any imperfection. She was the epitome of beauty and was even more beautiful than Madison herself.

Mr. Jordan looked towards the woman and laughed. “Chase meet Janet, the new co-director. Janet meet Chase, heir to the Adrian company and a valuable asset to us,” he informed with a smile, as he introduced both of them.

“Hi," Janet said and received a nod of acknowledgment from Chase.

“Your partner will be here shortly.” Mr. Jordan said.

“Can I have a word with you?” Chase requested and noticed that he had gotten the attention of everyone in the room. “Privately." He added.

“Sure... please.” Mr. Jordan said and beckoned Chase to follow him.

...

They both walked out, into the hallway. Shutting the door behind, Mr. Jordan looked up at Chase. “I know what you are about to say.” he began.

He dipped his hands into his pocket and took a step towards Chase. “Luckily, we have decided to release it after your wedding, so there is nothing to be scared of,” he informed and Chase nodded.

“I don't want anything that will disrupt my wedding... ” Chase said with a smile. A smile that hides his true nature.

“We assure you, that your wedding is safe. ” Mr. Jordan reassured and returned the smile. “We just hope you keep working with us.” He said with a faint smile.

“No one should know about it, until after the wedding,” Chase warned and Mr. Jordan smiled in return. Ignoring him, chase walked back into the room, and shortly after, the director followed after him.

Am loving this story, it's a great piece that has shown how bad parenting system could affect a child lifestyle and turnout with just few chapters yet. I also love how the part of that animal human story was introduced without any contradiction. Keep the chapters coming.

Walking into the old abandoned building, Carl set Madison down on the ground as he wiped off the sweat on his forehead. He examined her wound with a deep frown on his face and although it was just a little scratch that would heal in days, he was still angry and bloodthirsty. He wanted to harm those that have put her in such a situation. He wanted to hear them cry out to him for forgiveness as he makes them go through so much more than Madison had experienced. “Madison.” He called out to her while moving a few strands of bloodied hair, away from her face. He bite his lower lip as soon as she did not respond. He was very tired and quickly sat beside Madison while placing her head on his lap. He did not want her to feel sore when she regains consciousness. “Once everything is over, I’ll give you the life you deserve.” He swore as he patted her head, slowly. For some time, there was peace and quiet as Carl just leaned on the brick wall with Madison’s head resting properly on his lap with

“What do you mean ?” Carl voiced out with concern. He was tensed and it was evident on his face how wary he was. “You will find out.” Lilith just said to him before she hung up. Carl inserted his phone back into his pocket and walked back into the room in a haste. He ignored the worried stare he was getting from Madison and walked towards the wardrobe, pulling out a bag from it. “What’s wrong?” Madison asked him as she stood up from the bed. She was worried, as she had no idea what was going on. It had barely been five minutes since Carl stepped out, only for him to return. She could feel that he was worried and it alarmed her. “We are leaving right now!” he simply said to her without taking a glance at her and just began to take out the bags. “Now? Why?” Madison asked him, as she followed him out. Now she was curious to know what was happening. She followed after him, as she went down the stairs. The floorboards creaked as soon as they were stepped on. “What’s going on?” Paul

A splash of cold water was all it took for Alesha to wake up. She gasped and her eyelashes fluttered before she looked around to observe her surroundings. The rattling of the chains bound to her reechoed in her eardrums. She was lost and, aside from that, she did not recognize where she was. She could almost hear her heartbeat pick up pace as it pounded hard against her ribcage like it was trying to escape its prison in her chest. She reeked of sweat and blood and her hair was damp with her sweat. Now, she could see them…her kidnappers, and they all had menacing looks on their faces like they weren’t there to play. They meant serious business and she knew that if she offended them, she might not be left off that easy. She quickly stared at her legs, as the thought of what had happened previously, clouded her mind. Surprisingly, her legs were perfectly fine. There were no bruises, nothing. “What sorcery is this?” she questioned her insanity In doubt as she was sure that just some fe

Carl and Madison arrived at their destination, a small building. Looking at the environment, Madison began to admire the work of nature as a smile beamed on her face. She could see a garden by the side of the house and a few flowers by the side of the porch. This was what she wanted, to live in a normal house, without any worries, and not in a mansion like her family. She didn’t need all that money and having to attend huge parties thrown by a celebrity or a governor. She wanted to live a simple life and she was sure she was going to like her stay here.Carl walked to the porch and pressed lightly on the doorbell, immediately, they could both hear the faint sound of music coming from within the house. Soon, the door opened and a little girl peeked out from behind the door.“Sam,” Carl said with a smile on his face as he stared at the young girl.“Uncle Carl.” The girl said excitedly, as she ran out and hugged Carl by the waist.Madison looked at the little girl without knowing whether

She was still in her wedding gown and was still attracting people’s attention to herself, which she did not like.“Where are we going?” she asked Carl, as she took a glance at their unfamiliar surroundings. The smell of wet earth and grass, filled her nostrils, as the cab sped past buildings and trees.“We are going to look for a place to stay.” He replied instead and smiled at her. His indifferent look was nowhere to be seen as he spoke to her.“Are you two a couple?” the cab man couldn’t help but ask as he stared at the duo from the rearview mirror. “I don’t mean to offend anyone, I’m just curious.” He said to them and Madison smiled.“Don’t mind the gown…we are not...” “Yes, we are married,” Carl said, interrupting her while placing a palm on her hand. “We just got married.” He added and Madison gawked at him in surprise. The cabman smiled as he glanced at
