I locked myself in the bathroom, ignoring Lilia, who slammed the bathroom door earlier, begging me to get out of the bathroom. This is a day that feels like a nightmare to me. Just as my eyes opened from a sleepless night, Lilia told me this was the day of my and Nathan's wedding.

I rushed into the bathroom and locked the door tightly. "No, Lilia, don't force me to lose my mind. I don't want to marry that wolf. Please stop telling me to come out. Don't you see the bruises all over my body? This was Nathan's mark. Even the corners of my lips were still bruised from his slap. How could you still have the heart to tell me to marry that devil-hearted wolfman?" I protested.
