Anana barely had enough sleep.

The night before, the training had ended abruptly after Ira’s cold words:

“You’re either braver than I thought… or far more foolish.”

Without another glance, Ira had announced that training for the day was over, leaving Anana alone on the training ground.

When Anana finally returned to her room, she tried to rest, but her thoughts refused to settle. She rolled over and over on the bed, staring at the ceiling, her mind replaying the day and wondering what dreadful training awaits her.

The air in her room felt heavier than usual, and every time she closed her eyes, the image of Ira’s cold smirk came back to her.

With a low groan, she pushed herself up from the bed.

“You have to be ready for the next training,” she muttered under her breath, as if saying it out loud might make it true.

Her gaze landed on a clay pot of flowers in the corner of her room. She reached for it, trying to lift it over her head for practice. The weight was underwhelming nowhere nea

  • Bonded To The Alpha God of War    The Five Stages of Breaking

The sky was pale with the first breath of dawn. Dew clung to the grass, and the air was cold enough to sting lungs with every breath. One by one, the remaining eighty-five contestants gathered at the wide ground, faces tense, some brimming with confidence, others already shadowed by doubt. At the far end of the field, Ira stood upon a raised podium. Her figure was tall and unbending, her dark cloak heavy with morning mist. When her voice rang out, it cut clean through the restless murmurs.“Today,” she declared, her eyes scanning the sea of faces, “marks the second trial of the tournament.”The noise died at once and every ear leaned closer.“First, I congratulate you. To have come this far means you have endured where others have failed. But hear me well…” her tone sharpened, “this trial is not about strength of arm, nor skill of blade. This trial is about endurance. To break you. To test how long you can hold, when your body screams to surrender.”Murmurs stirred in the crowd. Some

  • Bonded To The Alpha God of War    No Longer a Princess

Anana staggered into her chamber, her body screaming with every step. Bruises blossomed across her arms and legs, her muscles felt torn apart from within, and dried blood clung stubbornly to her skin. Her war outfit, once proud and fierce, now looked like a ragged cloth, it was soaked in sweat, stained with dirt, smeared with blood. Her hair was a wild mess of tangled braids, streaked with dust, leaves, and broken bits of wood. Each breath was a weight, heavy and ragged and her every movement was a battle. But she pressed forward, dragging herself into the washroom.Cool water cascaded over her battered frame, washing away the grime, the blood, the sweat of war. The water stung against her wounds, but she bore it in silence, her face set like stone. She scrubbed until her skin showed pale through the redness of battle, until her reflection stared back at her as someone almost unrecognizable. When she stepped out, her eyes fell on the discarded war outfit crumpled against the wall. • Bonded To The Alpha God of War    The Day She Became a Warrior

The morning light pierced through the canopy, rays cutting across the view revealing the beast's monstrosity. It was not merely an animal. It was savagery made flesh. The embodiment of destruction and unrelenting cruelty. Its frame towered, a grotesque wolf-blooded monstrosity, bristling with jagged spines that shivered with every movement. Its skin was scorched black, stretched over muscles knotted with unnatural power. Its maw gaped open, a cavern of jagged yellow fangs dripping with saliva, each tooth long enough to punch through bone. Its eyes, molten-red coals that didn’t just look at you, they devoured you. They stripped away courage, peeling down to your rawest fear. This was no ordinary beast. It was one meant to be faced by five warriors together but only one could claim its fang.…The forest shuddered as the beast burst from the trees, a wall of muscle and fur smashing through bushes like it was nothing. Its guttural snarl shook the air, vibrating in Anana’s ribs. Her lung

The cliff was merciless.A single step into the void would mean instant death. One glance down would drain courage from the bravest of hearts. The drop stretched endlessly, its bottom swallowed in thick clouds that concealed whatever lurked below. The air carried strange, haunting sounds, low growls, shrieks that didn’t belong to any bird she knew, the whispers of predators waiting for anything that fell into their lair. For a moment, Anana’s breath came hard, her chest burning. If she let go, death would not fail to greet her and devour her instantly. She clung to the cliffside, dangling by a knife that dug shallowly into the earth. The blade trembled under her weight, soil crumbling around it. Any moment, it could give. Her other hand reached desperately, finding a jagged stone that jutted out of the cliff face. Fingers bruised, nails tearing, she gripped it with everything she had. The knife quivered. The rock cut into her palm but she held on.Her lungs heaved as she whispered to

  • Bonded To The Alpha God of War    The First Trial

The air itself carried weight that morning. The fortress trembled with anticipation, and even the birds seemed to sense it, their wings scattering wildly across the sky, their cries loud and restless. It wasn’t an ordinary day. It was the tournament day. From every corner of Lucien’s rule, contestants had gathered, warriors from distant packs, clans hardened by blood, and champions whose scars were stories. In their midst stood Anana, her war outfit plain but neatly fitted, her hair loosely braided to the back of her head. Compared to the others, she looked almost fragile, her slender figure a stark contrast to their towering, battle-seasoned frames. The laughter started small but spread like fire.“What is a princess doing in a place like this?” one sneered, voice dripping with ridicule. “Is she here to charm the beasts into surrendering?”Another barked a laugh. “Careful, Your Highness. Don’t let your tiara fall when you trip.”Others joined in, their words sharp as daggers.“She th

  • Bonded To The Alpha God of War    The Shift of Plans

Lucien’s eyes were sharp when he addressed Ira and Ronan in the council chamber. The candles around him flickered against the stone walls, but his voice was firm, heavy with command.“The tournament will not take place tomorrow.” He said, his tone heavy, leaving no room for argument. The air itself thickened at the decree. Lucien leaned forward, his authority still pressing heavy. “The young Alpha intends to strike during the tournament. If we move as planned, we play directly into his hands.”He paused, his gaze shifting to Ronan. “You will make the announcement and you must ensure every soul entering this fortress is searched thoroughly.”“No exception, contestant, merchant, guest, or warrior. We cannot afford even a shadow to slip through unchecked.”Ronan bowed slightly, his broad shoulders squared with resolve.“It will be done.” He said, his voice a vow rather than a reply.Ira stood beside him and followed in silence, her face calm but her mind already calculating the threads
