Brenda’s POV

I didn’t want to admit that Kaden had been smart to think of this trip, but it appeared he was. Every part of me had questioned why he would decide to leave everything behind when his clan was falling apart and he had said there wouldn’t be no attacks because he was their main target.

The attackers would wait for him till he was back and he said in that case, he was going to delay them and make sure they knew how absurd it was for them to start fires and petty crimes.

He needed whoever it was to show their face and while I didn’t really consider his enemies the bad guys, I was also curious to see who had this much audacity.
