Narrator's POV Somewhere Secret, Alpine CoveWhen the Captain had burst in and heard the alarms, he'd expected to see armed guards waiting, but everyone was in a frantic rush to escape from the building. Someone, or something landed from above, hitting him with great force. It was Harver. A Mito infested Harver. He tried to move, but he couldn't. Harver had psychically rooted him to the spot. Harver rushed at him, but fortunately Joe came to his rescue, jumping in. They struggled, the Mitos coming from Harver's body and entangling Joe. Joe's Demon Essence charged up, burning the Mitos off. Joe kicked Harver from him, but before Joe could blink, Harver was back on him again. Narrator's povFlashbackHarver was escaping. He'd discovered a secret that changed everything about his mission.. The Book of Shadows was not the key to stopping the demons. It was the key to control them. King Trafford desired to have these demons to himself. His armies chased after Harver for all they were worth, but he didn't bugde. All of a sudden, his horse stopped, throwing him over. He landed in the snow, wondering why his horse was running away and leaving him on the cold floor. He could smell them. Mitos. He started to run back, towards the army. The Mitos infested humans chased after him. They crashed into the incoming army, hoarding them. Harver realized he was going to be stuck between the devil and the Red Sea if he didn't find a way out. He ran into General Lothbrok. "You bastard!. You dared to betray the king", he said, jumping off his horse. "He's the one who betrayed us. He's planning on controlling the Mitos for his own benefit. He doesn't care about you".
