He looked around and it was like his world is crumbling down. 'Don't you get it! It's all over!' those words hurt him more than anything.
He could feel the pain within his heart. It is as if she is just spuing those words.
He stands up from his bed being fatigued, 'today is a very long day,' he retorted and went straight into his kitchen just to have something to fill his little tummy.
'Gosh!....Nothing is here,' he muttered after checking out his food storage.
'I shouldn't have consumed that much this morning,' he retorted with lots of regrets.
'What do I do now? Will I have to sleep with an empty stomach?' he asked himself. At the moment he is confused, due to what had happened to him earlier. He is destabilized.
While he is still trying to weigh his options, his tummy starts rumbling like a pig rustling its sound.
'I am damn hungry. I need to eat something even if it is light,' he retorted.
Joe couldn't just wrap his head around what to do. His head is clouded with a lot of things at the same time.
'What's smelling around here?' he retorted after perceiving a very terrible odor.
He looked around, 'where did that come from?' he asked himself, but he couldn't really place it, so he continued with what he was trying to do.
'I need to go out, like right away," he emphasized and quickly had his shirt removed.
'WTF!' he retorted heavily, due to the smell rustling from his shirt. 'So, I have been smelling all along! God damn it! … That must be one of the reasons she dumped me,' he emphasized with great disappointment.
'But how come?' he queried himself, raising his head up.
'Yes, I think I get it now,' he retorted as some memories flashed through his mind. He could remember when he was about to cross a smelly gutter.
The gutter has a lot of debris and some waters couldn't find their way out of the gutter, because of the hole in the gutter. The polluted water was stuck there.
When he was about to cross, a small child mistakenly had an object drop into the water, 'gosh!' he exclaimed, 'watch how you play next time, kid! You stained me,' he quickly added and walked off, due to the person he wanted to meet.
'I fucked up to be sincere. How didn't I find out since?' He blamed himself severally. More memories flashed through his mind.
'I was indeed embarrassed at the restaurant because of this stinking cloth. Gosh!' he retorted.
The deed is done, Joe can't go back to remold his past, but at least, he still has full control of his present.
He quickly dashed into the bathroom and had a thorough bath. After washing himself, he tossed the cloth into a soapy water and washed the hell outta it. He felt the cloth is responsible for his heartbreak.
After the thorough cleaning, he wears a new shirt and trousers. He dashed out of his house to buy something reasonable to eat. At this point, Joe is desperate to eat anything, because his tummy wouldn't hold its peace.
After walking a mile, he could perceive something delicious ahead of him. His tummy rumbled immediately, craving the food already.
He walked there hurriedly, on seeing the roasted meat, his mouth watered, "good evening man!" He greeted the man with respect.
"Good evening sir. How many would you like to buy?" he asked. Without waiting for him to answer, he started packing some meat for him.
Joe felt like picking everything at the same time, but he knew his money wouldn't be enough to pack them all, "five is ok," he emptied.
The seller already packed six, so he had to remove one from it. After packing it, he stretched his hand to collect his money.
Joe dipped his hand into his pocket to give the seller the money, 'wait please' he said, trying to find the money he believed was in his pocket.
He removed his hand from his pocket and squeezed the pocket region to see if he would feel anything, 'eew..' he retorted regretfully and walked away with his head tucked into his shirt.
'Where would the money have gone?' he queried himself. After a lot of calculations, he had a memory flash, 'gosh!' he whimpered unhappily.
The money he thought was in his pocket was actually in the pocket of the trousers he removed earlier.
'Total fuck up!' he retorted and quickly rush home to pick it up. On getting home, he picked up the cloth to remove the money in its pocket.
'Ahh!' he exclaimed with panic, the money tore into irreplaceable pieces. He examined the pieces and tears were dripping down his dry eye.
'Why is today like this?' he expressed, regretting how his day went.
Since he doesn't have anything to eat, the hunger and the thought of how his girlfriend broke his heart hit him on his face directly. This time, there is nothing he could shield himself with. He wept like a toddler.
That night was a terrible one for Joe, he had to go to bed empty with a heavy heart. He slept off like a baby.
'What!' he expressed audibly. His eyes were forced to open up. He thought that everything he saw was real.
He gazed into the dark outrightly, it was as if his inner eyes were opened, he saw different flashes of different scenes all at a time.
Joe shook his head relentlessly, 'snap out of it Joe! What is wrong with you?' he said to himself so that he could snap out of it . The more he tries snapping out of it, the more he sees the different scene flash.
'What's all this? This is the same thing I saw in my dream,' he affirmed, because it was still fresh in his memories.
He checked his time, it's morning already. He dashed out of his house and could see a truck pass by, just like what he saw in his vision, he read aloud the letters written on the truck, 'instant cash…. This is the exact thing I saw. Let me follow it like I did in my vision. Today may be my lucky day,' he retorted and quickly stopped a taxi without changing to anything meaningful forgetting he doesn't have the money to pay for the taxi.
The truck stopped according to his vision, so he asked the taxi to drop him immediately.
"My money," the taxi man requested.
"I am sorry man. I have no cash," he said. According to his vision, the man let him be.
The same thing occurred at the scene, "ok man, but do not try that next time, you may not be lucky" he said and drove off.
'what! It worked, then this must work definitely,' he retorted and mustered some courage.
According to his vision, he was given the truck without having to talk.
He gazed at the truck with a smile. Two hefty men dropped off the truck gently and their eyes were fixed on him immediately, "come here!" One of them said, signaling to Joe with a terrific look.
'This one looked as if he wanted to beat me,' Joe's heart almost jumped out of his chest due to their looks, 'I hope I am not in trouble?' he retorted.
With Joe's vision coming to fulfillment, could Joe be a seer?

Whoever has this book in his possession can conquer the world. The Shadows empowers, sustains and makes everyone bow". Harver didn't understand a word. "The Lioness sent me on a secret mission to help you find a book that might be a myth". "Its not a myth. My grandfather once willed the book". "What happened to him afterwards? ""He ran mad". "Oh". "But that is because he held the book for his personal gain. I wish to will it to bring back the rain". "Rain? ""That gods has decided to punish us. They released terrible demons on us and withheld our rain. I have lost more than half of my people, and the people who used to look at me with so much love and respect scorn at the mention of my name". He was dejected. "Demons? What do you mean? Narrator's POV A few years ago, FlashbackA young Harver Morvacain trudged on, his carriage waiting for him. He was not exactly happy about going on a secret mission. He'd just confessed his feelings to Marie a week prior, and Mina's birthday was in a few days.He resolved to finish the mission in two days and return. But he was in shock when he got to Trafford. It was a dimension stuck in the past. No cars, televisions or roads. He made his way to the palace, angry that his carriage had shown up two hours later than usual. He noticed that the streets were empty. He entered the king's quarters, bowing as he came in presence of the king. "Harver Morvacain. I've been expecting you". "King Trafford... ". "Urgency, please. The Lioness claim you're the man for the job. I need your help in retrieving a book". "Book? ""The Book of Shadows.
