Warning: Another long chapter<3
Zia
I stuck close to Mateo when we arrived at the club. I couldn’t ignore the sticky feeling between my legs since he sucked my toes like they were the tastiest treat he had ever tasted, his groans and the way his fingers moved up my calf were a burnt memory in my head and I kept on repeating it.
His smell intoxicated me, and I knew that tonight was the night. I wanted Mateo and was sure I wanted to do it today.
I was pretty sure he couldn’t wait any longer for me. He was probably on edge along with me and I just wanted to give him all of me already. Just as he had done with me, he had given me so much and I had given him nothing yet.
“Are you okay?” He asked me as he turned to shield me from all the people, he rubbed his hands down my arms and I nodded as I pressed my hands on his waist.
“I’m good,” I told him and he smiled as he leaned down and pressed his lips on the corners of my mouth.
“You’re magnificent,” he whispered in my ear, and I shivered. It wasn’t because of the cold air, but because of the effect he had on me. I wondered if he knew how much power he had over me. “Should I give you my jacket?” he asked again, for the umpteenth time since we left the house and I laughed as I withdrew from his hug.
“No, I’m okay. It’s not that cold, plus we’re going in,” I told him as I smoothed my hands down the Avery mini dress I wore.
To match my outfit, Mateo wore a simple black suit and left a few of the top buttons open, and he looked delicious. I wished he would button up the rest of his shirt, right up to the last button, but I kept my words to myself.
“Fine,” he squeezed my arms once more, and I smiled as he took my hand in his and walked us into the club with a simple nod to the bouncer. He kept his hand on the small of my back as he led me through the hallway, I noticed how the wall was arched, with blue and warm LED lights along the sides of the wall.
It felt like we were walking through a cave, but the finishing was concrete. It felt like an adventure. The noise was somewhat contained, but I could feel its vibrations against the floors we walked on. His men scattered around the club, with only one following behind us.
This life was sometimes a bit too much for me, the staring that came with it, the whispers that filled the room whenever I would enter would sometimes overwhelm me, but it was just the price I had to pay.
I looked at him and he didn’t seem bothered by it; he was used to all of this. How sad.
When we reached the last stair, I heard someone squeal my name and saw her as she rushed toward me.
“Fuck,” I heard Mateo grit, annoyed that they were here, he didn’t have a problem with my friends, he had a problem with Drew. And if Carol was here, the whole gang was here.
“This place is amazing, isn’t it!” she squealed as she wrapped her arms around my body and I returned the hug.
It was beautiful and quite big. I had never been to a club before, but this had set the bar for me. It was like a private joint where only the elite could enter—even though there was a long cue outside.
“It is,” I agreed as she hooked our arms together and greeted Mateo for a brief second, and he nodded in response. She proceeded to pull me away from my husband, and he followed silently. “Who invited you?”
“Tania, but Drew couldn’t come today. He said he’s busy with something,” she waved her hand and I nodded. I turned to face Mateo, and he had an unrecognisable grin on his face when he heard Drew wasn’t there. “I don’t understand the boy, one second, he wants to be around you and the next he’s angry at you. Confusing.”
“Meh,” I shrugged, and she giggled. “So, will you be spending your time with Luis?”
I asked as she entered a space separate from the rest of the people.
“No,” she whispered in my ear, and I tilted my head to the side.Yeah, right.“I’ve got my eyes on someone else now.”
“Zia, baby!” Tania rushed toward me and pulled me into her arms and swung us side to side. “Your ass looks amazing in that dress!”
She pulled away from the hug, her hands still on my arms as she stared at me.
“Thank you,” I giggled as I pushed my hair away from my face. I was getting tired of the weave and wanted to go back to braids. Sure, it looked pretty amazing, but I wanted something different. “Red always looks good on you, Tania.”
“Thank you, baby,” I watched Mateo from the corner of my eye as he greeted Luis and some other guy I had never met before. “Well, I have to steal Mateo from you for a few minutes. Is that okay?”
“Sure, if you have work to do, don’t let me stop you,” I waved my hands, and she leaned forward and kissed my cheek.
“Will make sure we finish quickly,” she promised as she walked toward the men and they all got up. Luis waved his hand at me and Mateo came over to me and pressed his lips against my forehead.
“Stay here, please?”
“Yes,” I answered softly, feeling captured by his eyes. “I will,” I confirmed.
Once they were gone, Carol and I sat down in the booth and she picked up her drink and looked at me, smiling.
“So, did you see that guy?” she whispered, and I gasped as I stared at her.
“Carol!” I said in an incredulous gasp as I figured out what she meant. “No.”
“Yeah, he is so hot,” she whispered as she leaned in close to me and offered me her drink. I shook my head, not wanting to drink until Mateo came back. Even though we were in a private booth, where I could drink as much as I wanted and possibly be safe, I wanted to be with my man.
“Carol, you can’t be serious, he knows Luis,” I said as I put my hands behind me and she shrugged.
“It’s not like Luis and I were ever in a relationship, it was just physical,” she rolled her eyes and placed her glass down on the table. “He’s seeing a new girl, too.”
“Oh,” I whispered as I crossed my leg over the other. Was this some kind of player game between them? “How does that make you feel?”
“No different from what I did when we screwed,” she laughed, and I was honestly intrigued that she could detach her emotions from her sexual activities.
“Talking about that,” I whispered as I turned to face her and her eyes widened with curiosity. She seemed eager to hear what I had to say and to feel her curious eyes on me sort of scared me into not saying anything. “Never mind.”
“No, no. You can tell me,” Carol assured me and I nodded as I faced her again, licking my lips nervously. “Did something happen that made you uncomfortable? Did I make you uncomfortable?”
“No, nothing happened and I’m kinda used to the things you say,” I laughed as I pushed my hair away from my face. “You know how I’m a virgin, right?”
“Yes,” she nodded, no look of judgment in her eyes as she looked at me with care.
“I want to, you know, do it,” I whispered as I motioned with my hands and her smile still showed me that she cared for what I was saying. “I don’t know how to initiate it.”
“Oh,” she whispered, and she moved her hair over her shoulder. “Are you sure, though? You don’t have to feel pressure because of all the nonsense I tell you. Your husband does seem to respect you to wait until whenever you’re ready.”
“No, I am ready. I want to do it,” I held her hands, desperate for her to give me some information or tips about this. “Please, Carol.”
“Sheesh, give him those eyes and he would be willing to lay the pipe on you,” she laughed softly. “I can’t tell you what to do but talk to him about it,” she said, and I groaned.
“I have been trying. It’s time to get to action and I—” I swallowed my words when they returned. Mateo led the group as the others talked behind him. They returned with two couples, Carol and I smiled as we greeted them and Mateo reached out for me and I put my hand in his.
“I want to show you my office,” he whispered in my ear as the people he returned with settled down. “Tania, take care of our guests.”
She nodded as she raised the champagne bottle, and they all cheered when she popped the bottle. Carol sat next to the new guy, and they seemed to be cosy. I looked at Luis, wanting to gauge his reaction, but he didn’t seem bothered by anything. He seemed to be in celebration with the others, and that shocked me.
Singlehood seemed terrifying.
“Talk to him,” Carol mouthed at me right before we left and I nodded, even though I was scared as shit.
I followed Mateo, our hands interlaced together as he guided me through the tunnel way up to his office. The door was completely glass but blacked out, and when we entered, the office was lit up in a purple glow and his desk set by the big window, watching over the club.
“They can’t see us from down there,” he whispered behind me after he locked his door and I smiled nodding.
“So, this is your club?”
“I have to make money for my wife, don’t I?” he joked as he walked over to the couch and pulled me with him. “Do you want a drink?”
“Yes, please,” he walked over to his bar and mixed a drink for me before he came back and sat next to me.
“I know how much you like Long Island Iced Tea,” he smiled as he passed me the drink and took a sip of his brandy.
“Thank you,” I whispered as I took a sip of the drink and the smoothness of the drink gave me a tinge of confidence. “Did everything go well with your meeting?”
“Yeah, everything got sorted out,” he drank a bit more of his drink and I placed my drink on the table before us.
“That’s great,” I muttered and turned to face him.
“What is it?” he smiled as he looked at me and I shook my head. I was chickening out.
“Nothing, I just hope women weren’t staring at you as you walked around looking like that,” I whispered as I dragged my fingers into the opening of his shirt.
“If they did, I never noticed it,” he confirmed, his eyes dropping to my lips, and I nodded.
I leaned forward toward him and he watched me carefully as he watched me throw my leg over his lap and sit on him. My heart felt like it was about to explode, I was terrified. Did he think I was being too forward? Would he scold me and push me off him?
I should get off. Mateo placed his free hand on my waist and pulled me closer to him. My heart skipped a beat as I felt him under me. All of him.
“Are you telling the truth?” I asked as I wrapped my arms around his neck and his hand slowly moved down my waist to palm my ass, his touch was gentle and I knew I wanted this man to be my everything.
“I promise you,” his voice was deep, and his eyes gazed into mine as he downed the rest of his drink. The moment the glass disappeared from his lips, I pressed mine on his and he dropped the glass onto the ground, and I heard it thud against the rug as he brought his hands to my face, deepening the kiss.
Fireworks exploded within me, and I felt a strong need rise within me as I kissed Mateo, the taste of alcohol as our tongues locked in a hot, feverish kiss. I moaned when I felt him stir underneath me, and I moved my hips against him.
He brought his hands to my ass, squeezing as we kissed, and I broke away from the kiss and stared into his eyes. It was clear that we were both wanting this for a long time now.
“Mateo,” I moaned as I thought about him, and all his previous promises. I slowly moved my hand down his throat, and he gulped, his eyes fixed on mine as I dragged my fingers down his body to what I wanted—needed desperately.
“Yes, kitten,” his voice was husky, and a shiver ran through my body as he pressed a kiss on my chin.
“I want what you promised me,” I said as I got off his lap and slowly kneeled before him and he groaned as he lifted his head and stared at the ceiling. “I waited until I was done with my exams, I was good, wasn’t I?”
“Yes, kitten,” he grunted and brought my left hand to his lips, pressing a soft kiss on my ring—his ring.
“Teach me,” I spoke softly, and he cursed softly as he threw his head back before he let go of my hand. “Teo,” I said, in almost a whine and his eyes settled on my lips and he smirked.
“Take it out,” I had never heard his voice so deep, and I felt my panties dampen instantly. With a shaky hand, I moved my fingers toward his zip and swallowed away the self-doubt that was brewing in me. I didn’t want to back down from this.
I slowly zipped down his pants and he sighed, almost as if he felt relief from all the strain against his pants. I looked up at him with hesitant eyes and he pressed his hand against my cheek gently, his eyes still drunk with lust, but they also showed how he didn’t want to force me to do anything I didn’t want to do.
With a simple nod from him, I removed him from his briefs, and he hissed. My eyes widened when I saw it, and I gulped. The tip was dark, out of curiosity, I brought my finger to the ooze that came out, and I looked into his eyes for approval as I licked my finger clean and he cussed softly, his penis flexing in my hand.
“Fuck, Zia,” he sighed as he closed his eyes.
“What do I do now?” I asked him, and he released a shaky breath as he dragged his hand down his face.
“Lick the tip first,” he instructed, and I immediately darted my tongue out, dragged my tongue over his head and looked at him, wanting to see if I was doing it right. It felt weird, but seeing his reaction made me want to continue.
I wanted to pleasure him.
After a few licks, I closed my mouth around his head and sucked before pulling my head up to catch his expression but his hand shot up and pushed my head back down on his shaft and I released a surprised noise from the back of my throat, but feeling my mouth so stretched and full excited me.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered as he moved my head up and down, forcing me to take more. Even though I was crying, and my cheeks ached painfully, I was happy. His groans that filled the room, his cussing and shaky breath, all of it made me feel like I was doing something right.
“Kitten, that mouth...” he breathed out, and I moaned.
I loved the compliments; I loved it all.
I pushed myself a bit more, and he hit the back of my throat, and I flattened my tongue against the base of his dick, and tried to push myself deeper. I wanted him to come apart the same way he made me come apart.
I could feel my wetness spread, coating my thighs and I resisted the urge to touch myself. Even though I desperately wanted to, I resisted and brought my fingers to the base of his dick, and I opened up my eyes and met his, and I knew right then and there.
That tonight, it was all going to happen.
“Zia,” he grunted as he pushed me down and released in my mouth, cussing softly as he leaned back against the couch before he became alarmed quickly. “I’m so sorry, spit it out into my hand,” he blurted, and I looked at him, shocked.
“I swallowed it,” I whispered, and he pressed his lips to mine, kissing me deeply. “Did I do it correctly?”
“Yes,” he sighed as he held my face in his. “Fuck, Kitten. You were so beautiful,” he whispered as he made me climb his lap again.
“You can tell me if you didn’t like it.”
“I loved it, you were perfect baby,” he whispered as he kissed my cheek and kissed all around my face. “You were everything and more.”
Mateo“Where did you go? You’re supposed to be on bed rest,” Zia chided on the phone call, and I winced as I heard how stern her voice was. I’m in trouble.“I’m sorry, sweetheart. I had to step out for a moment,” I told her as I crossed my leg over the other, and I bet all the money I had that she was pouting.“Is Luis with you?”Yeah, he was outside by the car because he didn’t want to ruin his happy mood. He was dramatic.“I got it!” I heard Tania scream in the back. “Zia, I got it!”“What did she get?” I asked, and Zia giggled in response.“Do you want to see it?”“Ew, no! Get away from me with that!” Zia screamed back in response, and from the way the line sounded like it was cutting, she was running.“How can you be disgusted? This is in line with your profession!” I heard Tania giggle like a maniac in the background.“Ugh. Just make sure you come back home soon; I have to go!” She hung up before I could even respond, and I stared at the screen as if it were some foreign object i
MateoMy eyes slowly opened, and I stared at the white ceiling. My bones felt stiff as I tried to move around on the bed. I slowly blinked my eyes, trying to process everything that had happened and where I was.My throat felt parched, and my body was heavy, as exhaustion had taken its toll on my body. Just the thought of opening my mouth to speak felt like it would take a lot of effort that I wasn’t willing to give.Despite my body screaming for me to do absolutely nothing, with the little strength I had, I pulled myself up on the bed and groaned when I noticed the IV drip inserted in my hand. I rubbed my eyes as I tried to get rid of the exhaustion that laced my eyes. How long had I been in here?Where’s Zia? I grunted in pain as I pushed the blanket off my body, slowly swinging my legs to the side of the bed as I got up.“What are you doing?” I lifted my eyes and noticed Luis standing by the door, with his arm held up by a sling.“That’s your only injury?” I asked as I pushed mysel
ZiaHe smiled. He freaking smiled like a maniac as he brought his hands up. My heart sank to the pits of my stomach when his eyes suddenly got darker than when he walked in.“Oh, you’re going to enjoy this. When he smiles like that, he’s about to go feral,” Marcello chuckled as he leaned against the balcony, his eyes glistening with pure joy as he watched his grandson stare deadly at the man who would be his opponent. My knees felt weak, and I felt sick to my stomach when I saw Marcello’s grin. He was enjoying this, and yet again, so did Mateo appear to be the same way. I had seen him smile before, but this sent chills down my back.“You’re a maniac,” I whispered as I shook my head, and he chuckled.“I know. Now be a good girl, and watch quietly,” he shoved his fingers in my face, pushing me to face forward, and I took a deep breath in.The man who entered—what anyone would think was an altar for two people who were about to say their vows to each other, but it was a death ring—wasted
MateoToday was Marcello’s pre-wedding day; he called it a trial wedding, and it had been almost an entire week since Zia had moved out of our house, and I struggled to sleep. I struggled to do anything. And that was why, like a creep, I would sneak into her room and watch her sleep. Why did I care what she thought of that prick Drew? He hurt her, and I was still protecting his image that she knew. I was just like him; if this continued, then I had a hand in him drugging her.Damn.“Mateo,” Luis whispered, and I grunted in response as I pushed myself harder. “I think he isn’t breathing anymore,” he said, and I shook my head.“No, he’s pretty much alive. Then she would have a deeper reason to be mad at me,” I grunted as I dropped the guy in my hands. “I mean, it would make sense if he were dead, right?”I turned to look at Luis, and he grimaced as he stared at me.“Where is he?” I asked as I placed my bloodied hands on my waist. I tilted my head, and Luis shook his head as he blocked th
Zia“Zia sweetie, here’s some chamomile tea,” Tania whispered as she passed me her mug, and I looked up at her gratefully.“Thank you,” I muttered as I placed it on the coffee table before me. I was curled up on the couch, staring intently at the fireplace, watching how the logs caught fire.Tania’s house was pretty and cosy. It was extremely different from Mateo’s house when I moved in. Of course, he was willing and allowed me to turn it into a home that I thought fit both of us perfectly. It was warm, and I thought it fit us perfectly, reflecting our relationship.Well...After crying throughout my lunch, I made sure to leave my phone in the car and convinced Dave not to say anything to Mateo. I went back to work, and thank God, there were so many patient files that I had to digitise and that distracted me.Why did that boy have to show up and burst the blissful bubble I was living in?Moreover, why did Mateo beat him up? Why did he break his promise? I wanted to talk to him, but I
MateoI waited for Zia’s response the whole day, and I got nothing. What did she talk to Dave about? Should I replace him with a female bodyguard instead? Why did Zia have to befriend everyone she met?I rechecked our messages as I walked down the hallway toward Marcello’s office.Me: Baby. Call me, please? Let’s talk about Dave’s sweet tooth.“Are you still checking on Zia?” Luis asked as he peeked over my shoulder, and I looked at him, annoyed.“Why are you always in my business?” I asked him, and he snarled as he clicked his tongue.“Why are you always having your business around me? Conduct yourself better,” he flipped his stupid ponytail behind him and strutted away.“You conduct yourself better,” I whispered as I tried to call Zia. I pressed the phone against my ear, listening to it ring as I waited to hear her voice, but all I got was voicemail.“Are you coming?” Luis asked as he peeked his head from Marcello’s office, and I waved my hand.“Tell him to get his ass in here right
