The moment I returned to the room, Aria and Alisa kept looking at me suspiciously as they asked where I had gone. I just had to come up with an excuse that I was very sure that they did not believe because there was no way that I would tell them that I went to meet Kael who almost drowned me and then I fainted in his brother’s arms who in turn made me sleep on his bed, fed me, gave me a key and then touched my ass.

I had been thinking. Even after hiding the key, I had been thinking about Jarek touching my ass. It was the first time that a man was touching me and I kind of liked it. I kind of liked Jarek. He was nice to me, good-looking and I liked that he was not mean.

“Amber stop it!” I cautioned myself. I had only met him twice and I was already sprouting feelings. I didn't even know him well enough. But I knew that his twin was a jerk. A huge one. Aria and Alisa were both whining about how angry they were and I just remained on my bed quietly. I couldn't tell them that Jarek fed me.

It was almost evening when someone knocked on our door and I decided to go check it out. Standing in front of the door was a guard who was holding a small luggage. My brows furrowed.

“Alpla Jarek asked me to give them to you.” My mouth parted. Jarek really promised to send some clothes for me. The guard rolled the box into my room and I did not get to say thank you when I walked away.

I slowly locked the door and then turned to see two curious eyes on me. “What is that?” Aria asked.

“I thought they were coming to ask us to come out for dinner. What is that? Did your mother send the clothes already?” Alisa asked and my jaw worked. I decided to tell them that my mother sent the clothes. I did not want things to be awkward between us if I said that it was Jarek.

“Yes.” My voice was barely above a whisper as I dragged the box to my bed and placed the box on top of the bed, I slowly unzipped it. The box was medium-sized and it was filled with lots of clothes. I began to bring out the clothes and there were lots of shirts, shorts, sweatpants, dresses, and underwear. There was no bra. All the clothes were brand new and all had clothes tags on them.

“Your mother really wants you to be the breeder. She literally went as far as getting you new clothes.” Alisa joked and I let out a small smile.

“Why did you guys come here? Together?” I did not even see a reason why anyone would offer themselves up to be breeders for ruthless Alphas, because as far as I was concerned, most of the girls came on their own accord.

“Because we are one and we both want the same thing.”

“But the Alphas want just a girl. They did not ask for two.” Even if they were one, two of them would not be able to carry a child at the same time.

“Agreed. It will be a good thing if one of us gets chosen. But before that, it's actually our dream to have sex with Alpha Jarek and Kael. It would be so hot!” Alisa squealed as she began to jump around the room.

“I know right? They look like they have big dick energy.”

“I need to get dressed and thanks for the clothes. I appreciate it.”

“One love.” Alisa blew a kiss at me and after that, I took a dress to the bathroom to change into. It was after I was done that I arranged my clothes in my cupboard and then I hid the key in the cupboard. I hid it in such a way that no one would be able to find it. And why did Jarek even give it to me? What was in the key that he trusted me with it?

I just finished showering when the bell rang and we heard a loud voice over a speaker that we could not see. “All girls are to gather in the courtyard. You have just five minutes to be there.” The name voice announced and Alisa and Aria began to search for their shoes.

“I think they are going to feed us,” Alisa said happily and Aria rolled her eyes.

“People don't get fed in a courtyard.” She said and I totally agreed with her, though I said nothing out loud. After they had worn their slippers, we all hurried out of the room and by the time we got to the courtyard, almost all the girls were already gathered.

About five minutes later, Damon appeared and like the last time, the Alphas were not present. “This will be your first task and anyone who fails will be eliminated. Immediately you finish, you will be led to the dining room to get fed.”

“Why are you guys feeding us now? Aren't we supposed to eat before doing any challenge?” She asked in annoyance and with the murmurings that followed, the other girls agreed with her.

“You have just five minutes to run to that tree.” He pointed at a tree with a lot of red cloth tied on each of its branches. The branch was kilometers away. “Get a red cloth and run back. You have just three minutes.”

What? The distance was far and the other girls had not eaten. I only ate because of Jarek. The tree was huge and we actually had to climb onto it to retrieve the cloth. How did climbing a tree even relate to being a breeder?”

“We have to test your strength and agility to know if you are fit enough to be the Alpha’s breeder.”

“But we are hungry.” A girl cried out.

“Your time starts now.” He ignored the complaints and held up a timer. The moment he did so, the girls began to run in different directions and I took to my heels as well.
