DOMINIC'S POV

How do I explain how insufferable this pain was?

My palms pressed into the desk, sweat gathered at my temples, and my breathed slowed. I knew that rejecting Rosie would be the worst decision of my life, but I had done it to protect her. It wasn't enough reason to stop my wolf from tearing me apart for it.

"You let her go, and now you watch another wolf step, take chances." Ryk snarled. Even though he knew the 'wolf' was my brother.

I clutched my fists. "Don't say another word." I muttered.

Ryk wasn't going to let this go. I had denied him our mate, and now I was going to mentally suffer as my punishment. It looked like Rosie had slipped further away, watching my brother, Ashton, hover around her like he was her mate.

I didn't know how to explain the feeling.

He deserved her, actually.
