Elias POV

The pain refused to stop.

Every few minutes another wave crashed through my body with even greater force than the last, making it impossible to catch my breath properly as I lay on the hospital bed while doctors and nurses hurried around me.

Voices echoed from every corner of the room, but none of it mattered because the only thing I could focus on was the child inside me fighting to enter the world.

My fingers instinctively searched for something to hold onto until they found a hand.

  • Bound By His Name    The Emergency Room

Damien's POVThe hospital doors swung open as the medical team rushed Benita into the emergency room. A nurse pushed the stretcher through the doors while another followed close behind, giving instructions that disappeared beneath the hurried footsteps and movement in the corridor.Elias stood near the emergency doors, his body trembling so badly that his legs kept shaking beneath him. He had one finger between his teeth, biting down on it as though the pain could give him something else to focus on.I watched him for a few seconds before walking over. “Elias, I'm sorry.”“I don't want to talk to you.”He didn't even turn toward me.I stopped beside him, staring at the same doors he had been watching since the medical team took Benita inside. “I know I didn't ask for permission, but you can't expect me to sit somewhere and wait while you walk into a place like that. You disappeared into that warehouse without telling me what you were going to do, and I couldn't just stay behind.”His

  • Bound By His Name    The Warehouse Erupts

Elias’s POV“In essence,” he said calmly, “we need you.”The words stayed between us.I studied him without giving him the satisfaction of a reaction. Fred stood several feet away with that same poker face.“So you want my blood,” I said.“We want what your blood contains.”“And you think I’m going to agree because you explained it politely?”The man's mouth barely moved. “I think you understand the position you're in.”I glanced around the warehouse.Guns pointed in my direction from every side. Men stood between the exits, beside the pillars, along the walls and behind the crates. There were enough of them that trying to fight my way through would be suicide.Still, I wasn't going to make this easy for them. “You spent all this time telling me about the serum and everything your families did to find an answer,” I muttered, leaning forward with my elbows on my knees. “And after all that, you still haven't answered the only question that matters.”The man waited.“What happens to me a

  • Bound By His Name    The Negotiation

Elias's POVThe man stopped a few feet in front of Fred, and for several seconds, neither of them said anything.Fred was the one who finally broke the silence.“Why are you coming now?” he asked, irritation slipping into his voice. “I already sent you the address.”“I know.” The man pulled his hand from his coat pocket. “I had a few things to arrange before I could leave.”Fred scoffed, but that was all.I watched him closely.A few minutes ago, Fred had been grabbing me, threatening me, and choking me against a wall as if nobody in this warehouse could stop him. Now, with this man standing in front of him, Fred had restrained himself. He was still defiant, still watching him with that challenging look in his eyes, but he wasn't pushing any further. There was respect between them. I could see it in the way Fred held himself. So this was the person behind all of this. The man turned his attention to me and walked over. His shoes struck the concrete as he approached, and when he stoppe

  • Bound By His Name    Why You!

Elias's POVFred walked in front of me with his hands buried in his pockets, his footsteps scraping against the concrete as he moved from one side of the room to the other.“I've gone through a lot because of you.”He stopped. His fingers slowly came out of his pockets, one hand closing into a fist before he forced it open again.“For years, I've hated you, Elias. I've tried to convince myself that I hated you because you always had something I didn't, but there's one thing I still can't understand.”He looked at me. “Why is it always you?”I didn't answer.Fred's mouth twisted as he took another step toward me.“Everywhere I turn, your name is already there. Every opportunity I reach for somehow ends up connected to you. Even now, I had to use your child to get you to stand in front of me.” His laugh came out bitter. “Tell me, what the hell is so special about you? Why does everything have to revolve around you? Why can't there be one fucking thing that belongs to me?”I slipped my h

  • Bound By His Name    The Warehouse

Elias's POVThe car finally stopped in front of the warehouse, and I remained in my seat for a few seconds, staring through the windshield at the massive structure ahead of me. The place looked abandoned from the outside, with rust spreading across the metal doors and weeds pushing through cracks in the concrete, but I knew better than to mistake silence for emptiness.I opened the door and stepped out, pulling my jacket into place before shutting it behind me.The warehouse stood completely still.I walked through the entrance, my footsteps echoing against the concrete floor as I scanned the space. Rows of old crates sat beneath the weak light filtering through the broken windows, but there was no movement between them, no voices, not even the sound of someone breathing. My hand slipped into my pocket and closed around my phone.Nothing.I took another few steps before the screen chimed. I pulled it out and read the messages.Fred: Get rid of whoever followed you first. My brows pull

  • Bound By His Name    The Truth Behind BioNexus

Elias's POV“Mr. Lang is here.” Mia's voice came from the doorway, and my hand tightened around the strap of the bag.Uncle Lang had chosen an interesting time to come, especially after Fred had just given me a location and a reason to leave this house tomorrow.I walked downstairs and found him waiting in the parlor. He turned when I entered, and I noticed the seriousness in his expression before he even spoke.“You're going after Fred tomorrow,” he said, his eyes dropping briefly to the bag in my hand.“I am,” I replied as I placed the bag beside the sofa. “And before you tell me not to go, save your breath. I'm going.”Uncle Lang gave a small nod and settled into the chair opposite me. “I wasn't going to tell you not to go.”That caught my attention.I sat down, rubbing my thumb slowly across the side of my palm. “Then why are you here?”“Because Laura has finally moved against you directly, and I don't think you can afford to walk into their hands without knowing what you're actua

  • Bound By His Name    A Devil

Fred POV I picked up my car keys and headed for the door. “Mom, I’m going out. I’ll be back late today,” I shouted and closed the door behind me. “Don’t forget your jacket, baby,” my mom’s annoying voice called out. “Yes, Momma.” Rolling my eyes and walking to where my baby Range Rover SV wa

  • Bound By His Name    Mr Carter

Elias POV I walked out of a cafe, with an iced coffee in hand. The streets were bright with morning light, but it did little to pierce the darkness inside me. The memory of last night still fresh like it happened today. Emily fell in step beside me holding a pizza in her hands, she didn’t let me

  • Bound By His Name    The Gathering

Damien POV A low groan left my throat, one arm dragging across the empty side of the bed. The sheets were cold. My eyes snapped open. For a moment, my mind was fogged—fragments of the previous night flickering in disjointed flashes. A face blurred by desire and something darker, when clarity hit

  • Bound By His Name    Morning After

Elias POV I lay motionless for long minutes, my body aching all over. I dragged myself to sit upright. Every movement sent sharp pain lancing through my lower back and thighs. Limping into the bathroom, I turned on the shower and stepped under the hot spray. Tears mingled with water as they poured
