Darkness came first. Not the quiet kind. Not sleep. It was violent, chaotic, full of screaming metal and Massimo’s voice—“Talana!”—echoing through crumbling stone, through the fire, through the void.

Then, silence, followed by pain. Talana gasped as consciousness clawed its way back into her skull. Her eyes snapped open to cold fluorescent lights. The sterile scent of antiseptic and steel replaced the choking dust and blood. Her lungs pulled in air like it might disappear again.

She tried to sit up. Her body screamed.

“Scheisse,” a voice muttered, and hands were immediately at her shoulders. “Dona Sanchiano, you must not move.”

A woman in surgical scrubs stood over her, blonde, severe, and efficient. Not German military. Civilian, but trained. Talana registered the symbol on her arm: a faded crest, Sanchiano.

“Where…?” Her voice cracked like dry ice.

“You’re in Berlin. Below Tiergarten,” the medic answered in clipped English. “A private Sanchiano med-hold. You were pulled from the cat

Berlin’s bones hid the wounded and the wicked. Massimo was both.Darkness wasn’t silent. It had a sound, thick, metallic, pulsing like blood through a cracked skull.Massimo drifted through it, torn between fevered memories and the harsh slap of reality. The concrete beneath him was wet with snowmelt and blood. His blood. He heard the footsteps, then a muffled female voice, sharp, speaking German with clipped urgency. His fingers twitched. A scream caught in his throat, but never made it out. Instead, De Marco’s voice slithered through the black: “She’ll replace you, you know. You were always too soft when it mattered. Do you think Talana cries for you? She’s already forgotten, already plotting her next war.”As he backed out he envisioned Talana, her voice screaming out for him, her hands reaching for him. Then he felt the prick, something sharp, cold and thin. A needle pierced his arm and the sting of something cold flooded his veins. “Stabilize his vitals. Now.”“I don’t know w

Berlin wasn’t ready. Not for the blacked-out SUVs snaking through Kreuzberg’s midnight haze. Not for the Morelli and Sanchiano men sliding like shadows between alleyways and rooftops. And certainly not for the wrath of Talana Fabrizio, eyes sharp with vengeance, clad in black leather and silence. The city’s pulse quickened as the convoy neared the cathedral, but it wasn’t a church anymore. Not since De Marco had converted the crumbling Gothic relic into a digital fortress, marble altars wired with AI servers, confessionals hiding encrypted vaults, stained glass hiding gun turrets and listening tech. The bastard had desecrated everything sacred. And tonight, it would burn.Inside the lead vehicle, Massimo loaded a magazine with calm precision, glancing sideways at Talana. Her jaw was clenched, but her hands were steady on her thigh holster. Shadows of grief and fury danced behind her eyes, a storm contained in a woman shaped by war.“You don’t have to go in first,” he said quietly.“I

Back in Moscow, buried deep within an undisclosed bunker, Donatello sat across from Viktor Sokolov. Though the cold bled through the concrete walls, the real chill came from something far more dangerous than winter.“You don’t usually come crawling to old ghosts,” Sokolov said, his Russian accent thick but sharp.“I’m not crawling,” Donatello replied coolly, smoke curling from the cigarette between his fingers. “I’m offering what you’ve always had a taste for, war.”Sokolov arched a brow. “Mmm. You always did know how to flatter. What do you want?”“I want the vault protected, the Morelli empire reduced to ash, and Talana Fabrizio, pardon me, Sanchiano, eliminated.”Sokolov tilted his head. “Talana Fabrizio... That’s who you’re targeting?”Donatello exhaled slowly. “She’s become a serious problem in our world. We took out her mother years ago, but the girl? She’s Don Roberto’s blood. The new Dona of the Sanchiano family.”“You’re poking at a sleeping beast, going after Sanchiano. You

Talana stood rigid in the sterile, cold room of the Sanchiano Private Clinic, her eyes locking with Chiara’s, sharp, calculating, and utterly devoid of remorse. The air was thick with venom.“You thought you could keep me in the dark?” Talana’s voice was low but cutting, every syllable dripping with contempt. “Gianna nearly died, because of you!"Chiara’s lips curled in a cruel smile. “Because you don’t belong here, Talana. Gianna’s condition is a liability, and you’re a threat to everything."Talana’s jaw clenched, fists curling at her sides. “You want me gone. But I'll be damed if I let you get to me. I know what you want, the same that that bitch Valentina wanted, Massimo Morelli, but you'll never have him. Neither of you."Chiara stepped closer, voice icy. “You’ve already lost, whether you realize it or not. You don’t control the Morelli's or anything else anymore.”From the bed, Gianna’s weak voice broke through the tension. “Talana… don’t waste your breath. They’re poison.”Tal

Sanchiano War Room – Evening folder—Rosalina – Final Messages. They'd taken a breather after the first video had played. Now Talana sat stiffly, arms folded across her chest, as if bracing for more impact. Massimo stood behind her now, his hands gently gripping her shoulders. Roberto and Mariano flanked the opposite side of the long oak table. No one dared speak. The video began. Rosalina’s voice, raw and weathered, filled the room once again, before her face appeared. She was in a sterile hospital room, sunlight spilling in through half-closed blinds. Her dark hair hung loose around her pale face, IVs snaking from her arm. > “If you’re seeing this, it means I didn’t make it,” she began, her voice wavering. “Dad, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't listen and ran away. I love you papa." Tears streamed down their faces. For the forst time Don Sanchiano had shown real emotion after his daughter left home. "Papa, I have a daughter, Talana, please keep your protective eyes over her. Pablo a
