Chapter 17 Warmth and Affection

Author’s POV

The kitchen atmosphere was quite sullen; Shrey could see the expression change on Luke's face.

She felt desolate; a few moments before, Luke was cheerful, and now all the color on his face was gone. Yet, she couldn't stop herself from thinking about Kendall.

She is unaware of her surroundings, which pierces her heart. She wants to ask many questions, but she can find no one around to answer her.

Her heart is pelting, but there is nothing she can do about it.

Shrey's POV

For now, I should go with the flow and wait for Mr. Hemsworth to clarify everything, and that's why I decided to ease the atmosphere.
