Chapter 74

My heart skipped a bit as Jeremy said the words, and no, it wasn’t the good type. Whenever I hear the words ‘we need to talk’ it never really ends well, and I don’t know what direction this one was going to take, but I hope it was for good.

I entered his office with him, nodding to his secretary before we entered the main office.

I carried out a sweeping cheek on the expanse of space, noting a lot of changes since I was here. Now I was feeling like a bad friend; I couldn’t even recall when I last went to his office.

He had added more picture frames of himself on the wall, and I must say, he looked good in all of them. He had also changed the color of the wall from all white to a shade of peach.

I mean, it wasn’t really an office color, but to each their own.

There were so many new changes that I was still trying to wrap my head around when all this happened.

I was just cooped up in my little world, oblivious to everything around me, and right now it was costing my friends and relation
