Seraphina's POV.

A breeze seemed like swept and brushing the trees in a whisper that faded into an unsettling silence too deep and too still, as though the world itself was holding its breath. Tonight, everything would change. My family's legacy, being the Alpha and the darkness that had always belonged to me made it difficult for myself tonight. I couldn't do anything about it.

A crackling sound echoed above the silence. The sensation of whirling and adrenaline filled my body as I ran around. I wasn’t being followed at least not in the way I could see. • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Final Peace.

Fabian's POV.The haze drifted away, and the chaos stilled. The air held no screams now, only quiet murmurs and the low growl of those still standing. Among the debris of our world destroyed by war, I stood with the weight and fear of triumph. The stench of smoke and demise enveloped me like a shield. I felt the earth's pulsation beneath me, alive with the energy of life but stained by blood. What could that mean? We had achieved peace, yet it came wrapped in sorrows and shadow. The war was over, yet my pulse still carried its echoes. The ghosts of the fallen walked beside me in thought and the victory in my hands felt fragile. Peace was here but it seemed it was built on the graves of too many. Was it worth the sacrifice?Although the kingdom was looking broken, physically, emotionally, and spiritually yet it still stood. Despite their limited numbers, the rogue forces were relentless and the god like foe we had encountered had only revealed part of what was to come in the future. There was a distinct sensation in the air with an ancient and dark intensity. It was the kingdom that faced ruin. But I couldn't and wouldn’t let it fall. I didn't while I still breathed and Fabian was seated beside me. I could sense him in all places, he was always there, and yet there was something

The sky was filled with smoke, and I could see the outline of my fighters as they fought the remaining rogues. There was a sense of calm that settled in my chest as I heard the sound of metal clanging, bone shattering and calls for mercy. This was it. The final reckoning. White knuckles punctured my sword as I turned towards Seraphina. Her jaw was set, but her eyes… they gave her away. Fear was there, sure, but so was that stubborn fire that wouldn’t die. She’d been through hell, more than anyone should, and I’d always felt it in her but now it hit me all at once. It slammed into me like a shock, running straight down my spine. We had been very close for some time. Her magic engulfed us all, our Lycan might, as we coil around in unison. However, there was another dark element that none of us had anticipated. The rogue leader, Rylan Thorn, had been defeated, as we suspected. Neverthel
