I met my fated mate in the worst place possible. A club overrun by rogue wolves. He saved me and I fell in love with him. But fate isn’t kind. My mate is Alejandro Rossi. The man who was supposed to marry my mother. The man who vanished after catching his father and my mother in bed on their wedding eve. There’s a chance Alejandro is my brother. If it’s true, the Moon Goddess has made the deadliest mistake. If it’s false, our love is still forbidden. Is our love truly forbidden? Or did the past lie to us all?

The night was supposed to be perfect.
Tomorrow, I would take Elisabetta as my Luna, my mate, my forever.
I, Alejandro Rossi, Alpha of the Garcia Pack and heir to the Rossi wine empire, had everything. Power, wealth and the love of my life.
Until one phone call cracked the foundation of my world.
“Ale… I won’t make it tonight. I’m really sick, brother. I’m sorry,” Giovanni’s voice rasped over the line.
I frowned, tightening my grip on the phone. “What are you talking about, Gio? You’re my best man. You can’t miss my bachelor’s night.”
His breathing was ragged. “Forgive me, Ale. I can’t stand it. I can barely walk ” His words faded into silence.
“Rest then,” I sighed, disappointment tugging at my chest. “We’ll talk tomorrow. Thanks, brother.”
“Yeah… you’re the luckiest man alive, Ale. Don’t forget that.”
The call ended, but something, something itched beneath my skin.
I shook it off.
I needed Elisabetta. Just one touch from her would calm this storm.
The Rossi villa buzzed with life. The wedding eve party roared downstairs, but I barely noticed. I searched for Elisabetta through the sea of guests. She wasn’t there.
“Where’s Elisabetta?” I asked a passing omega.
“She said she was going to rest, Alpha.”
Relief softened my chest. Of course. Tomorrow’s a big day.
I took the stairs two at a time, my wolf pacing eagerly beneath my skin, desperate to see our mate.
But then I heard it.
Moans.
At first, I smiled. Even after all these years, my parents still can’t keep their hands off each other? I thought to myself.
But as I moved closer to the master bedroom, the female voice laced with soft cries of pleasure became painfully familiar.
“Elisabetta…”
Her name trembled from the lips of my father, the Alpha King himself.
My blood turned to ice.
No. No, this isn’t real. This is a nightmare.
I shoved the door open, heart banging in my chest.
There she was.
My mate, my destined Luna, my promise forever.
In my father’s arms, naked. Laying beneath him, gasping his name.
Time collapsed. My heart ripped apart inside me.
“Elisabetta?” My voice was strangled, disbelieving.
Her sapphire eyes, the same ones that once looked at me with pure devotion widened in terror.
“Ale...Wait, please, it’s not what you think.”
My father paled, the mighty Alpha King reduced to a guilty coward.
“Son. Alejandro !!!”
“Don’t call me that!” I roared, my wolf clawing savagely at my chest, demanding I tear them apart.
“You…” pointing my fingers at him, my hands trembling. “You are my father! My Alpha! How could you? How could you do this to me?”
Elisabetta scrambled toward me on her knees, desperation flooding her scent. “Please, please, listen to me! It's not what you think. I didn’t mean to”
“You didn’t mean to spread your legs for my father?” My voice cracked, venomous, my soul splintering with every word. “You’re my mate! The moon goddess chose you for me!”
Tears streamed down her face. “I I was confused! He’s the Alpha King! I had no choice, she said between tears.”
“You chose power over me,” I whispered, my voice dead, hollow. “You chose him.”
Her sobs echoed in the grand room as I stepped back, my wolf howling in agony, betrayed and bloodthirsty.
“It’s over,” I said, my fangs threatening to snap through my gums. “The mating ceremony is off.”
“Ale, please …”
“Enough!” My roar shook the walls.
Without another word, I turned and walked away from the pieces of my shattered life.
My mother rushed to me as I descended the stairs, panic in her eyes. “Alejandro? What’s wrong? Where’s Elisabetta? Everyone is waiting.”
I couldn’t look at her.
“Call off the wedding.”
Her lips parted. “What? No. What happened?”
“She was in bed,” I whispered, my heart barely able to beat, “with your husband.”
Silence.
My mother staggered backward, clutching her chest as if the words physically struck her.
“No… no, that can’t be.”
“I saw them.” It was the only thing I could say.
I kept walking, ignoring her desperate cries, ignoring the pack members who called after me, ignoring the world that suddenly made no sense.
The next morning, the news hit like wildfire.
The Alpha heir called off the wedding.
His mate slept with the Alpha King.
The disgrace of the Garcia Pack.
Whispers, stares, pity and mocking laughter was what I received from people.
They said I was cursed.
That the moon goddess had forsaken me.
But the worst was far from over. Another betrayal came weeks later.
Giovanni. My best friend and brother in all but blood got married to Elisabetta. My mate.
They left the Garcia Pack and joined the Silver Claw Pack, far away from the ashes of what they destroyed.
My wolf mourned for her. But I refused to. I buried her. I buried them all.
Eight moons passed and I had stayed hidden, unable to carry out my plans of leaving the pack because of my mother. Though I was ready to leave. Ready to abandon everything tied to their memory, then fate struck again.
An accident happened. Giovanni died instantly, while Elisabetta fell off the car while it summersaulted, before it burst into flames and plunged into the river. Passersby helped Elisabetta, who was in a bad state and rushed her to the hospital.
She survived long enough to give birth to her child and died afterwards.
The daughter of betrayal, the daughter of my father.
I was torn between feeling sorry and feeling vindicated for what had just happened to Elisabetta and Giovanni.
That evening, when my father heard of the accident, he decided to go claim his child. When he brought her into the Rossi villa, I saw her.
I took one long last look at her, trying to suppress the emotions welling up in me, and I turned away.
That was all I needed to make up my mind.
But am I really going to abandon my whole life, my Pack, my investment in the company and my title, just because of my father’s betrayal?
Chapter 97 – The Shadow in the DarkCrystal’s POVA soft knock pulled me out of my thoughts. I had been staring at the ceiling for so long, my mind replaying the fight between Alejandro, Giovanni, because of me, over and over like a broken record, and this made my heart ache.“Come in,” I whispered, my voice hoarse from crying all through. The door creaked open, and to my surprise, Luna, Gabrielle, and Nana stepped inside. For a moment, I just blinked at them, not sure if I was dreaming because I haven't seen Luna in a while. “Sweetheart,” Luna said softly, her smile warm but sad. She walked up to where I laid on my bed, first, Gabrielle and Nana followed. Before I could even sit up, Luna sat beside me and pulled me into her arms. Gabrielle hugged me from the other side, and Nana placed her hand on my hair. The warmth of their embrace melted something inside me, and my eyes were filled with tears instantly.“We heard everything,” Luna whispered against my hair. “About Giovanni, Aleja
Chapter 96 – Father and SonsAlejandro’s POVThe woods felt like they were holding their breath. Every step Lucian and I took sounded too loud, too sharp against the silence. We had been circling the borders for hours, waiting for Marco to strike, but no one came. Just shadows, whispers, and the dread in my chest.I was already on edge when I finally saw a familiar emerald light coming towards us.Marco.He stepped out of the trees, eyes gleaming like fire. I froze, my body torn between lunging at him and still thinking about Crystal and Giovanni. But then I heard the sound of footsteps walking behind Marco.Alpha Nikolas. He looked older, worn down by time and guilt, but his voice still had authority. “Marco, stop this nonsense.”Marco’s jaw tightened, emerald sparks crawling over his arms, lighting up his hate. And then, another presence emerged from the shadows behind me—steady, calm, terrifying in its silence. Giovanni. My breath caught. “Giovanni…”He turned his head slightly, ey
Chapter 95 – The RivalAlejandro’s POV Giovanni stood at the far end, his eyes blazing, his jaw clenched as he could barely hide his disappointment. The air thickened and was heavy with the aftermath of Crystal and I being caught in this situation. I dropped my hand, my chest heaving, unable to give a proper explanation. “It’s not—”“Don’t you dare,” Giovanni snapped, walking closer to where Crystal and I stood. His voice was a snarl, low and dangerous. “Don’t you dare try to explain this to me like I am blind.”“Giovanni, listen—” I stepped forward, my palms raised, desperately trying to make him understand and not create a scene. “You don’t understand. I—”His glare cut me off, sharp as steel.“I understand enough. With everything happening with Marco, you choose to do this! You chose to cool off by wanting to sleep with someone old enough to be your daughter? Someone you should be protecting… Come on Ale, this is your sister and it's wrong on every side.” He growled.“I know!” I
Chapter 94 – Nana’s ChoiceAlejandro’s POV“My father told him, when he tried to hurt me. Because I was still with my father when he broke in and I could tell, he wasn’t happy at all.”“If you were there, why didn’t you fight or stop him?” I asked. “You want me to fight a wolf who has mastered the act of being suspended in mid-air? I chased after him, but I tell you, he is functioning under higher powers that makes him extremely fast.”The night stretched on, heavy and restless. After everything that had happened—the phone call, Marco freeing Alpha Nikolas, Nana breaking down in front of us and Giovanni telling us about Marco knowing they were siblings—I couldn’t sleep. None of us could.I stood by the window, watching the moon sink lower, my thoughts running wild. Marco wasn’t hiding anymore. He was bold, reckless, and now, with his father at his side, he was dangerous on a level we had never faced.Behind me, I heard Gabrielle’s soft breathing. She had finally fallen asleep in her
Chapter 93 - After the BreakoutAlejandro’s POV The moment Lucian’s phone buzzed, the air in the room shifted. His face hardened as soon as he saw the caller ID, and I already knew it wasn’t going to be good news.“What is it?” I asked, trying to keep my voice low, though I already knew it would be bad news.He answered the call without looking at me. I watched his jaw tighten as he listened. A shadow passed over his face, and his eyes went cold. When he finally hung up, the silence between us felt heavy. I became visibly worried.“Talk to me,” I demanded, stepping closer.Lucian’s voice was flat, but the weight of what he was about to say crushed me even without knowing what it was. “It’s from the prison. Marco… he broke Alpha Nikolas out, and they are both gone.”For a second, my brain refused to accept the words. My chest squeezed tight, and heat burned through my body. Before I could stop myself, I slammed my fist into the slender tree beside me. The tree cracked and splintered u
Chapter 92 – The BreakoutMarco’s POVNana’s voice echoed softly in the dark chamber as she showed me how to push energy through the veins in my hands. The glow burned hotter every time I followed her instructions.“Focus,” she said, her own palms glowing faintly. “Don’t just pull power. Shape it. Farming energy is not about greed, it’s about control. The more control you have, the easier it is to use.”Nodding my head, I repeated the motion. My chest felt like it would burst, but I didn’t let go. “Like this?”“Yes.” Nana’s tired eyes watched me closely. “Good. Do it again. Keep doing—.”But then the room shifted. We both noticed it, like someone just came in.I froze when I saw a shadow moving across the wall. It wasn’t Nana’s, and it wasn't mine either, and worse was there was nobody else in the room except Nana and I. The shape looked like, and the outline was too familiar, like I had seen this person before. “Giovanni.”I narrowed my eyes, stretching out my energy, trying to pin
