The Night That Changed Everything

Gabrielle's Pov

I couldn’t stop smiling.

Every step I took, every breath I dragged into my lungs screamed one thing, I had won.

The Bloodmoon Festival had handed me my perfect trap. Alejandro Garcia Rossi, the untouchable future Alpha, was now mine.

Soon, I’d stand at his side as Luna. Soon, I’d carry his mark.

The sweet taste of victory burned hot in my veins. Too sweet. Too powerful to keep to myself.

I needed to celebrate.

I slipped into a black dress that clung to me like a second skin and headed straight for the Den. The dirtiest, wildest club in the pack’s territory. A place where unmated wolves and restless rogues came to drown their instincts under pounding music and flashing lights.

I wanted to lose control.

I wanted to remember why I’d started all this.

The first sip of Firebite scorched my throat. By the third glass, I felt invincible.

And then I smelled him.

A mixture of oakwood and musk. A scent I shouldn’t have recognized, but I did.
