Chapter 108- Poison in the air

Alejandro’s POV

I don’t know how long I had been falling.

At first it felt like I was running across nothing, and then the ground just vanished and I fell into a hole that didn't have any end, so I kept falling. I was breathing hard, trying to catch my breath. The air was heavy, vibrating, like the whole sky was falling apart. I stretched out my arms, grabbing at empty air, desperate for something to hold, anything, to stop myself from falling. My legs kicked violently, fighting to slow down, but there was nothing.

I just kept on falling.

Then—bang.

I hit the floor with a loud thud and I woke up. For a second I just lay there, trying to catch my breath, not even sure where I was. I was lying flat on the floor of my room, inhaling and exhaling deeply, sweat dripping down my neck. For a second, I thought I was still falling. Then I heard it— a buzzing, loud, sound.

It was my phone.
