Chapter 3

Author's POV

After changing her uniform, Elena left the club.

She was working at club at full night. Although Elena hate working at night club as often some drunken men tried to harass her but she has no other option.

She needs money for her brother's operation. She doesn't want to waste a single moment being sitting uselessly when her little brother, her one and only family fighting with death. But she is little happy that the club owner didn't force on her to wear any sultry short dress as uniform. Elena always wear

Elena looked at the old watch, which her dad had brought her 5 years ago. It was 6 at morning.

"I need to attend school at 8. It is 6 that's means I don't need to hire taxi. I can go home by walking" Elena mutter to herself and starts walking fastly towards her small home.

After half an hour, Elena reached her small home.

Elena was about to entered her house when two man stood in front of her.

"What do you want?" Elena asked them.

The men smirked at her evilly and one of them spoke up," Hey hot piece, kindly do not act like a naive. We know you serve your body to different rich man at the night club. So, why you do not let us play a bit. Do not worry, we will pay you equally like them. Also, we promise you will enjoy our services more than them"

Hearing this Elena felt disgusted. Her innocent heart roamed in pain.

"I am not a prostitute. I worked there as a waiter" Elena replied angrily and about to entered her home but they blocked her way.

"Oh come on, don't be shy now. We all know what type of girls worked at night club" One of them said and tried to grab her hand but Elena moved away.

"She is being difficult" One of them said and other one smirked at her.

"Is there any problem?" They heard a voice from back.

Elena sighed in relief when she was two police man were standing there.

"N..no sir. We were just talking with her" They both said and left from there immediately.

"Are you okay miss?" The police man asked her.

"I am alright. Thank you sir" Elena replied gratefully.

"Please go inside your home ma'am" One of the police man said and Elena nodded at them.

She brought out her keys from bag and opened the door.

When she entered the house the silence covered her heart. Once the house was always cheerful with Ace's cute voice but now it was fill up silence.

A fat tear rolled down on Elena's cheeks remembering Ace.

"I will arrange the money. I will not let the death snatch you from me" Elena whispered and entered her room.

Taking a simple dress from closest she entered her washroom and took a warm bath.

After getting dressed up, she came out and made a black coffee for her and noodles for her most favourite student Nathan.

It's not like Elena loves black coffee but she needs it for get sleep away from her eyes.

Elena took the coffee quickly and put the noodles in a box.

When she finished her coffee it was 7.25 already.

Elena needs to catch the school bus at 7.30 otherwise she has to spend money for taxi fare. She was grateful because the bus stand is just opposite side of her home. She just needs to cross the road.

Elena put the box in her bag and left from home. After closing the door properly she came out.

When she crossed the road she saw the bus was already full.

"I need to stand now. I should have come earlier today. Already my back is aching in pain" Elena mutter to herself and got inside the bus and stood near the door.

"Hey Elena"

Elena heard a familiar voice from back. She turned and saw her colleague Jack was calling her.

"Yes" Elena replied.

"Come here. I have already reserved a seat for you" Jack said.

Elena smiled a bit and spoke up," It's okay. I am fine here. You sit"

"Hey, come on. I have reserved seats for ourselves" Jack said happily.

Elena looked at him being nervous. She knew Jack loved her. She knew Jack came from a well doing family. He can afford car but he always traveled in bus because he wants to be with her.

Elena was always saw him as a friend. For a moment she wanted to ask money from him for her brother's treatment but one day his mother visited her home and insulted her very badly. His mother thought Elena trying to trap her son by her fake innocence. His mother blamed her for many things. She thought Jack didn't join their family business for her. She thought because of Elena her son working at the bullshit school when has business to run.

That day Elena changed her decision. She didn't inform Jack about this because she didn't want to create any problem between the mother and son.

"Elena, are you even listening to me?" Jack asked breaking Elena's thoughts.

Elena went towards him and sat down.

Jack smiled and spoke up," How are you? I have sent you many massages last night but you didn't reply me. Are you okay?

"I didn't get time to check my phone, sorry. And I am okay" Elena replied.

"Are you free tomorrow?" Jack asked her nervously.

"Why?" Elena asked him back.

"U..um..actually tomorrow I have to attend a business party with my parents. I will be so bore there. So, I wanted to ask, will you be my date?" Jack asked her nervously.

Elena looked at him and about to say something when her phone beeped.

Elena took out her phone and saw her colleague Ella from the night club has sent her a massage. Elena opened the massage.

Hey Elena,

Tomorrow there is a business party at our nearby hotel. The hotel manger asked our boss to send five waiter there. Will you go there? Boss was asking about you. The manager said each waiter will get 5000$ for a night as the party was arranged by the most powerful company of the country. The Knight Corporation.

Shall I tell our boss you will come?

After reading the massage Elena smiled. She immediately sent her a massage saying that she was ready.

Jack looked at her confusingly. Because Elena rarely smile.

"Is there any happy news?" Jack asked her.

"Yes. And sorry I can't go with you. I have some work" Elena said to him.

"It's okay" Jack said disappointingly.

Elena felt bad watching this but she needs to attend the party. She can't loss the opportunity to earn a nice amount in a night.

After some time the bus stopped in front of the school.

Elena got down and went towards her office room.

When she reached near her office she was Nathan was standing near her room.

When Nathan saw her angel teacher he smiled brightly.

Elena often can see her brother in him.

"Hey baby, what are you doing here?" Elena asked him softly and opened her door.

Then they both entered the room.

"I was waiting for you. I want to give you something" Nathan said nervously.

Elena got down on her knees and cupped his cute face softly.

"What is it baby? Did someone try to bully you again? Tell me his name. I will take care of it" Elena said to him softly and ran her eyes on his body searching for any cut.

"No. No one tried to hurt me. I want to give you this" Nathan said and handover her a paper.

Elena took the paper and opened it. She was it was a picture. A woman, a man and a small kid in that picture.

Nathan was looking at his angel teacher to get some complements.

"It is so beautiful baby" Elena said and Nathan smiled happily.

"You know the man is my daddy. And it is you and the kid is me" Nathan explained his picture.

Elena smiled and kissed his cheeks happily.

"Thank you for the picture baby. Now you have to go your classroom. Your first class will start in ten minutes" Elena said and stood up.

She hold his little hand went towards his classroom.

When they came near the classroom Elena left his hand and spoke up," Be a good boy in class baby"

"Okay. I will" Nathan said cutely and entered his classroom.

Elena went back to her office room and sat down on her chair.

She started thinking about the day when she first saw Nathan..
