Cyrus

Opening my eyes was an impossible task.

It was like my eyelids had been glued together. A groan left my lips as I tried to lift my hand to rub my eyes. Maybe that would help. Although my arm was inexplicably heavy, it managed to do the job.

I rubbed my eyes and only afterward was I able to crack them open. I saw dim lights above. The ceiling was brown and wooden and it made me wonder where the hell I was. I had no idea.

I tried hard to remember while I sat up. There was a heavy weight on my chest, though. Moving was a futile attempt but I couldn’t give up. I was alarmed now. This couldn’t be normal.
