Helion’s POV

I could catch her scent before I even stepped into the room 

She smelt like petals and roses dipped in wine,

The scent that drives me insane.

Her scent was so strong I could feel my beast itching for control…

I looked at all the girls one by one but they were not her, I was getting infuriated when my eyes landed on her…

It grew stronger now she was inches away from me.

A human should not have this kind of scent, what exactly is she?

I walked over and stood in front of her, I grabbed her chin and forced her to look up at me, I was met with the most beautiful crystal blue eyes in the world.

Those eyes felt familiar but I cannot recall ever meeting her…

I took in her appearance,

“You are not afraid of me?”

“Why should I be?” I laughed 

“You should be, Amelia. I’d advise you tread with caution, you have no idea what I’m capable of “

“Yeah, I’ve heard a lot about you, the least you can do is kill me but I won’t let you” she responded

“Seven days, Amelia. I’m giving you seven days. If you still do not accept, I’ll kill all the girls you came here with then I’ll kill everyone in your clan, everyone, then I’ll force you to stay afterwards, I’m giving you a choice now so choose wisely …

“Get out!” I cut her off before she could say anything else, she shot me a glare and left without saying a word…

I was Awed at what I saw, a queen sized bed with several bedspreads, two different walk in closets, a big and beautiful chandelier hung in the middle, a huge mirror, I could see my entire self on it…

It was really beautiful.

"But, I can’t stay here"_

“Why?she asked

“I just can’t stay here, I don’t want to “ I said to her 

“But you know the lives of a lot of people are in your hands now. He said he will kill them, and he will.  Don’t test him, Amelia” 

I was surprised, how did she know?

“He told you that?” I asked and she smiled 

“He’s briefed me, Amelia. I am to stay close to you until you accept his offer “ she said and i scoffed 

He can’t keep me here 

This is no different from a prison _
